What sort of level is a typical young healthy man?

The focus of HRT in this country seems skewed towards women and - to a lesser degree - trans people.

There seems very little knowledge, or encouragement, of male hormone issues.

The NHS are a mess and they don't give a s**t about male hormone levels, because we are men lol

But seriously, going private is f**king extortionate, so you need to to trust that Big Rory is selling legit Test that is not underdosed if you decide to self admin

But if one has low mood, fatique, no libido, erectile dysfunction, brain fog to name a few of the classic signs, then they need to investigate.

Just because 14 is in range, does not mean that your body is not suffering with low test. 14 is still 'low'

Shame you are not my GP, i did lay it on thick even suggesting I may go down the "black market" route

her very supportive response was "don't do orals"

Really is such a clueless statement.
who in their right mind would consider TRT using liver toxic drugs. The average GP has as much knowledge about endocrinology as your 18 year old sarm goblin down pure gym.

BAD NEWS MY TEST HAS DROPPED TO 13

GOOD NEWS MY GP HAS F88KED OFF AND I saw a locum yesterday who was actually interested in my case he listened intently and has referred me to an endocronologist . Rather than just dismissing me on the strength of a number he asked lots of pertinent questions and really wanted to help......he asked if I was a professional athlete....i told him I won £100 for coming 2nd at Sheringham's strongest man 2008.

I am very hopeful of getting some help and being able to account for it so if I did wish to compete in the future I could get A TUE!

WORTH MENTIONING MY GP WAS A FEMALE FROM UKRAINE

MY LOCUM IS A MALE FROM IRAQ

The optimism soon crashed and burned.

Endocronologist has asked for a fasting blood test, not the end of the road but likely to be.

I was hoping for

" I have read your case here have some test gel"

Shunted onto antidepressants is the usual tactic for any condition with low mood, low energy. ‘Well your test is low, but here’s some venlafaxine to help with your mood’

Is it feasible to go private for a year or 2 then cross over? I understand it is costly, but less costly than going out on the piss and eating s**t food often and it will boost your health

I know a guy that went private for 2 years and he new sources his own Test and has his bloodwork monitored by a GP. I think he pays for the bloodwork separate and has the GP run their eye over, not sure?

If I was feeling terrible and knew it was because of hormone imbalance, I would do everything possible naturally first to help myself. Clean up diet, get proper sleep, train smart and ensure recovery, then I would just go private

Sourcing your own (black market) is cheap as chips, but potentially risky in terms of it being potentially anything from Big Rory’s lockup-garage homebrew to legit pharmaceutical grade (that said, testosterone is probably the least faked and well dosed of all the IPF-disapproved supplements out there)
I’d use one of the bloodwork providers aimed at the PED / TRT crowd too with folk who know what to test for and how to interpret results. IME GPs surprised me in how little they knew about endocrinology.
