I think it would be hugely petty to be bothered by being beat by someone weighing 105.8, for example. I cannot see 800g make a huge difference That being said, it obviously would irritate a little, if someone weighed in at 105 dead and was beaten by someone weighing 109-110!!! Personally, as long as I perform to my potential on all events, I will be happy

It seems to me that, for an under-105 class, the line ought to be at 105.00

has spent time in a modern educational setting Member 47, 1221 posts | If you have someone who simply misses the weight(for example 105.4kg), maybe they should be allowed to compete but just not get any prizes/trophies. A bit like competing as a guest. If they are anything around the 108kg+ mark then they haven't dieted hard enough and should be told to compete in the opens. But even with this, where do you draw the line?

Member 13, 14460 posts SQ 230, BP 180.5, DL 262.5673.0 kgs @ 128kgs UnEq | maybe part of the problem is they cant get acess too some proper calibrated scales or maybe not enough competitiors to be able to tell 2/3 people they are out because they are over by a kg or so rules are rules, but common sense is also good
