anti-social, except when needs help to put suit on Member 607, 2803 posts | right guys this is the start of my training log. 90% of you dont know me but im one of cleggys lot iv been training for the past 4 years doing all the bodybuilding usuals then decided to give powerlifting a try until mark got all the strongman equipment and its far to much fun to leave alone! i had plans for entering the under 90kg comp next year but for some daft reason decided to do it this year! so for the last few weeks i have been concentrating on the events and c£$ping semi detached-houses and having the odd days where i "look like iv had my dinner money stolen" but im not alone alex and mr smalls have entered with me the last few weeks i have been settin new PB'S in pretty much everythin just to get close to the standard for the comp, hopefully resulting in a rep on each event which as some may know 1x90kg power jerk for the safe press 1x180kg axel deadlift PB 102kg farmers for 20m - 90kg for distance at the comp 250kg yoke for 15m PB for 30m timed at comp 6x90kg stone over 4ft yoke - 2x90kg over 4ft 6" - 1x90kg over 4ft 10" 100kg stone over 4ft 6 at the comp so all is looking rather well juts hope it all goes well on the day | ||

anti-social, except when needs help to put suit on Member 607, 2803 posts | sunday 5th april woke up with a bit of a hangover (competition prep eh ) i only wanted to get a bit of time under the bar on the yoke 2 x 30m x 60kg 2 x 30m x 140kg 2 x 30m x 180kg i managed to get a bit of speed up with the 180kg which is pretty good my core strength still letting me down and a bit of s**ty pain in my back feels behind my traps jus a short session ( they seem to be these days) although stayed around for some stone antics | ||

anti-social, except when needs help to put suit on Member 607, 2803 posts | i left it later today to see the sugden crew so started around 6ish (not particulaly fond of doin it this late) only planned to get some jerk work done build upto 80 for a rep reps! wasnt really feeling it today had some shoulder pain and oundnt get into it warmup 2x5 - 40kg 1x3 - 50kg 1x1- 60kg 3x3 - 70kg all felt like dog s**t so decided to leave it the boys were doin farmers so i jumped in mid set and threw down a pb of 70kg for 60m so atleast i took somethin home from the session, seems alex isnt entering so its me and smallsy last days tomoro plan on doing some deadlifts and if the mood takes me play with a stone | ||

anti-social, except when needs help to put suit on Member 607, 2803 posts | EPIC FAIL today 2x4 60kg 2x4 100kg 2x2 120kg 2x2 140kg 1x160kg - EPIC FAIL (did it on a oly bar from the floor with out chalk on sunday...WTF) 2x2 140kg 1x5 140kg - easy as, every one with a pause aswell - WTF so with it being my last day i did a bit of back work i did hyper extension as i never had back pain when i used to do these i super seted these with sit-ups and some holds for back and abs - havnt done abs in like for ever not somethin i want to keep up but if it keep back pain at bay then ill do all day every day! plan no it to eat as much as a can now before sat and hopefully get my self to 91kg so i carnt compete! its only 15kg carnt wait to get bk to proper training | ||
