Strict overhead (the weights look goofy because they are converted from pound plates)
barx10
62kgx3
84kgx3
102.2kgx3
111.3kgx2
125kgx2
129.5kgx1
134kgx1
138.6kgx1
143.1kgx1 (pretty sure this is a PR for me)

Back squat against band tension
225x2 for 10 sets with 30 sec rest

Finished with a bunch of pumping exercises, 12 min of running, and some skipping rope tabata intervals. Was a really good workout. I am sure With all the added conditioning work I am going to lose some strength, but I am used to it. I really like the extra conditioning though, more than the lifting actually, so I look forward to the changes that will come.

I don't think anyone in the World can argue with them pressing weights Adam , Sweet training fella.
So how does your season work out with all the moving around with your job ? Do you train when you are based somewhere or what or just train by snapping terrorists necks ? And do you get home to do your Nationals to challenge Justin Blake ? - I don't know how all the army stuff works mate i've never played Army ?

Thanks man! I have a gym here on base and most of the places I deploy to have gyms as well. What they have may be suspect, but they almost always have weights of some sort. For events I pretty much never train them. I am always either working, moving, or deploying so it is tough for me. Training with Terry Hollands a couple of weeks ago was the first training session since last August. I wish I could get to nationals in the US, but it is usually too expensive for me. I get destroyed by the time difference so I like to go a week out and relax before the show and unless I have fam or friends out there it is just too much money to handle. The last nationals I did was in 2007, but I did it on a broken foot so I didnt do too well.

Thanks guys! I really think beating the hell out of the strict presses has helped me with my log press. I was always doing push presses or jerks before and it made me weak off the chest so I started in with the strict stuff and my pressing in all variations has gotten much better.

Today was a bad one. I just felt like crap. Had a lot to do at work and just didn't eat enough. Oh well, I will get it next time.

Here it goes.

Front squat (weights converted from pound plates)
61.3kgx3
102.2kgx3
125x3
143.3kgx2
165.9kgx2
184kgx1
193.1kgx1
202.27kgx1
143.3kgx3 for 6 sets with 30 seconds rest between sets

Did a bazillion pushups. Also did lunges and some other lowerbody pumping exercises. Tried to do some conditioning, but my legs felt like lead weights today, yuck!
