(please limit the participants to 12)

LOL.

Will, I reckon End of September/October would be good. There doesnt seem to be as much going on then. Gives me a chance to get back to full fitness tooWink

Nathan, if your not good at wrestling @ 155KG, no hope for the rest of us LOL

How about making the events similar to the unit 20 comp mate. Arnold style is always a winner IMO.

If I was you I wouldn't use a pole push, very high risk event in terms of biceps being torn.

thats what i was getting at, coulnt remember the name of it!!

yeah I was thinking along those lines. the only problem is the possibility of damaging the flooring of the venue. yoke and farmers wouldnt be possible because of that. stone over yoke is a possibility if I can find a workable way of protecting the floor.

crash mats? tyres?

there is the chance of using both ideas to ensure that the floor is not damaged

and wtf are you doing up at 20 to 3 in the morning?!?

Unpredictable working hours! Messes up my sleep... and often my trainingAngry.

I'm surprised pole push is such an unpopular event. I've only done it once - against Laurence Shahlaei!!! - and I'd like to have a go against more appropriate opposition! I know there's an injury risk, but isn't there with most/all events? How many Atlas Stone injuries (biceps!!) have you seen?

I agree that wrestling is naff. Tug of war is a little too bodyweight dependent.

The problem with an event like that is - how do you fairly decide on who goes up against who?
