Is it possible to fry the device in some way without leaving a mark? In particular htc models with a mini (not micro) usb port. I know that magnets don't work. I've heard that liquid nitrogen is also not that good (is that true?) I was thinking mains voltage into the mini usb port?? Thanks.

If only I had a portable microwave emitting device. There's a microwave very close to where the phone goes anyway so should hopefully be ok. Will check youtube now thanks guys.

Then they wouldn't delete it. Same 48 year old person leaves their phone laying around a lot. In a kitchen which is handy. ZZZZZZING!
