Hello mate,

If your going for the full low bar / wide stance squat then I'd say that you need to break at the hips first so that you sit back more.

In the video you break at the knees and hips at the same time which means that you don't sit back as far and your knees travel forward.

I don't wear gimp gear though so I may be talking balls

Felt very fatigued today, as usual with morning training im normally weak as a b**ch Tongue still went in just done a few minnimal bits of training untill events on sunday.

Push press (minimal leg drive)

2x 60kg x5
1x 80kg x5
1x 100kg x5
1x 120kg single
1x 120kg single
Felt feckin awefull, 120 was like 220 at lockout so slow today...

BTN jerk tech

3 sets of 5 60kg (just tech work)

Front raises

3 x 10kg d bells 12 reps

Side raises

3x 10kg d bells 12 reps

Nice and light day not got a heavy session in me atm

Had a few drinkies last night and couldnt go events this morning coz i had to have my daughter, just managed to cycle down the gym and do a s**t loada volume to get me sweatin Happy (i intended to sweat it out in events)

All supersets-

Squats oly style
5 sets of 10 60kg

Front squats
5 sets of 10 60kg

All done no rest

Bicep hammer curls

5 sets of 20 20lb d bells each hand

Followed by

Front raises with 15kg plate 5 sets of 20

Planking

30 secs
30 secs
1 minute

Side planks

2x 30 secs each side

Sweatin like a mofo now !

Thanks guys i appreciate the positive feedback, especially from such strong lifters like you 2 in particular, thanks for advice last night sam i had a semi light day today then intending to deadlift 3 times a week in the run upto competition !

Jc - i intended to come down tomorro n squat but im doin events at fe's so cant make it, really gonna try get down soon Happy

Ive done it higher i think mate, im not 100% on the platform height but put it this way the highest box is taller than me when im in flat shoes, and i did the 110 to 3rd platform and 150 to 4th ! Its high as s**t mate but best way to do it Grin jack had the 200kg stone to bottom platform, had it on the edge and dropped it Eek !! Felix threw it like a pebble haha

Unbelievably sore today, had a bit of a kip after work and felt like a bit of upper back training, ive neglected it for way too long so im startin a fresh.

Pull downs-

Warm ups with 150lbs
216lbs 5 reps
288lbs 5 reps

Body weight pull ups-

2 sets of 5

Cable rows (light)-

Full stack 200lbs 3 sets of 10 with stretches

Dumbell rows-

3 sets of 5 each side 145lb dbell

Shrugs with frame (free weight)-

60kg x10
100kg x10
140kg x10
180kg x10

So sore so so sore ha just had a nice sesh newt major Happy enjoyed it thou !
