Haven't trained in almost a week due to other commitments. Hoping to get back in the gym tomorrow or at the latest Sunday.

Recently, I've had a lot of aches and pains, mainly shoulders, elbows and knees. As well as this my appetite had died off and I just wanted to sleep constantly. This time off, my weight has bounced up by over 5lb, the aches and pains have more or less gone and I don't feel so exhausted.

Decided to drop the pin press day, as well as make a few tweaks to what I've been doing, mainly for added mass and to work on building a wider foundation to peak from in the future.

I'm also flirting with the idea of doing a comp in the near future, no idea what or when yet, I just want a little more focus in my training.

Broke my thumb on Saturday.

Had to borrow a mate's belt since I forgot mine. It was one of those lever belts and it was really loose on me. I think with my own belt, I may have got another rep or two.

Block Pulls
220x1
220x2-PB? I attempted a third but the two parts of my thumb where it has broke, slid across each other and felt horrific!

Deficit Pulls
190x3- same happened as block pulls with my thumb
200x1-fastest I've pulled 200 ever, had to call it as my hand was a swollen mess

DB Rows

Messed around with some beltless bottom up squats, felt ok. May use these in the future.

Today I found myself in the position where my job is being outsourced. Been offered a new job elsewhere but need to get a course out the way first, which isn't for another month. Head is battered, so training isn't happening tonight. Not sure how I'll train until the potential job kicks off. No comps is a definite though until I get back on my feet. I had been looking at notherns previously.

So today I got my marching orders. I now have all the time in the world to train while I find something else. Not ideal but s**t happens. Not a clue on game plan but might as well put this time to good use and get bigger, stronger and more bearded!

Strong squatting but why stop at 7 ? That number doesn't belong in squatting, oh and hope the job s**t sorts itself out !

Honestly, the plan was a few triples with 150, but 140 felt good. I racked it after a questionable fart on the 7th. I'll go for 140 for 12-15 next time around paused.

Called it there. Felt like crap. Have had trouble sleeping the last week or so and it finally took it's toll.

Spent about 20mins trying to warm up my shoulders before benching, but if anything, they felt worse. Weights all felt easy as they should.

Yesterday I spent 6 hours in hospital. I've been suffering with constant migraines for the last 2 months with cause me to lose complete vision in my right eye. I'm waiting for an appointment to see a neck specialist after seeing an eye specialist yesterday and waiting for some scans. I've been told not to go too wild in the gym.

Went for an interview today and got the job. Money isn't great but the hours are ok and the job seems easy enough. It'll do for now.
