The best lifter was 18year old Guy djedje. He achieved 235/177.5/267.5 unequipped at 103kg. He has been training for 9 months and is also a semi pro footballer :O:O. How?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Dont get yourself down about it. It was your first comp and with anything new it can be nerve racking. If you stuck at it im sure you would grow to love it. I am yet to compete but i know i may very well hate competing the first few times just because i will be as nervouse as anything. I wanna see you competing when i first enterHappy

Good luck mate. Alex it's good to see i'm not the only one still up at 5 in the morning.

Cheers mate, thats a big help. My quads are done in because they are the weak link at the minute i suspect. I have done very little work on them as my main aim before my injury was to strengthen my lower back. This is why i decided i will now front squat instead of GM for the time being on squat days.

I hate it when that happens when deadlifting. If i go for a 1 rep max i could drop down 30kg and struggle pretty badly. Deadlifting always takes it out of me.

Memory filled up befoire video ended.

I noticed depth was about an inch off so made sure to work on it.

Bar is now resting around 2 and a half inches lower than before, i have widened my stance, toes are pointing to the side more, head is up and i have tightened up all around with these changes.

Squats
60kg x 8
100kg x 5
110kg x 5
110kg x 5
110kg x 3(:O did not expect this)
100kg x 5
80kg x 8

Front squats
40kg x 5
60kg x 3
60kg x 5
60kg x 5
40kg x 5

I felt much more in control with the squats tonight. The changes have put ALLOT more pressure on my quads and they now feel like they are on fire. Alex was wright about the fact that my lower back is actually stronger than my legs, it seems that Leg press's don't show true leg strength.

The guys tell you they can take it but i bet inside they are crying in pain when receiving a powerlifters kick. How has training with phil been lately?

Military press
40kg x 8
50kg x 5
52.5kgx 5 x5 x5 x5 x4
40kg x 8

Dumb press
20's x 6
20's x 6

Skull crushers(E-Z bar)
18kg x 8
28kg x 6
30.5kgx 4x4
18kg x 8

Singel arm cable tricep extension
20kg x 8
30kg x 6
35kg x 5 x5

Still working on finding the wright volume. Felt allot better not doing allot of sets of dumb's followed by side and front raises, shrugs and than all the tricep work.
