How high is a bar off the floor when it has comp size ipf plates on ?

Need to work out how high my blocks need to be for diff hieghts

I thought it was 9" to the centre of the bar hence Tom Martins, lovely drawing of his 18" set-up in the "how high is 18"" thread. Could be wrong though.

IPF plates are 450mm in diameter, therefore the centre of the bar will be 225mm from the floor.

Please don't ask how to make the bar sit a various different heights as I've made my eleiko pull from 13" for a couple of weeks and I not can't get it to go back the standard 225mm.

I'm pretty sure that it's not covered by warranty either Unhappy

I know it sounds like one of those threads but its a genuine question a lad at works cutting me some wood for blocks and wanna know what hieght they need to be and don't have a bar and plates to hand to measure lol

From the floor to the bottom of the bar is just under 8.5" ( 8 and 3/8 if you want to be fussy) so 9.5" blocks should give you and 18" pull and so on ....
