Few other bits and bobs, can't remember it all.

Today - deadlifts

135kg x 1, then 2 sumo
175kg x 1 sumo belted
190kg x 5 sumo belted. Took a few seconds to get my breath back during reps 3,4,5 but didn't take hands off bar.

SLDL
160kg x 5 then 0

Pendlay rows
55kg x 8
75kg x 8
95kg x 5

Biceps (drop sets with cable), seated rows and some grip work. 17,5kg dumbbell hold from the bell just about with right hand blah blah

Crucifix hold - 12.5kg dumbbells (belted)
31, 15 seconds. Still improving.


Palms facing dumbbell press

40s x 9 PB Messed up the line on the 10th rep, but was going strong.

Power cleans

75kg x 5,5

Abs, a messabout set of strict press and a couple of messabout sets of triceps.
Pleased with this session.

Seated press from the pins with no belt or back rest. Each rep reset. Same as Savickas press, just not sitting on the floor.

I HATE crucifix holds - my arms feel like they're not fully straight and having long arms (coupled with weak shoulders) does not help.

Squat day today. Supposedly. No belt for anything

Back squats with oly shoes
55kg x 10
95kg x 5
130kg x 5, then gave up. Probably had more in the tank but too lazy

Box squats - SPF depth (inch or so above)
95kg x 3,3,3

Front squats
55kg x 3
95kg x 2
130kg x 1

Leg ext
2 sets of 8-10

18" rack pulls - no belt or chalk
Up to 215kg for 2 singles. Grip was going at the top.

Few messabout sets for abs, pullups and high pulls.

Deads today. Diet hasn't been on track, so wasn't expecting a great session...

192.5kg x 5 - couple of seconds resetting at the bottom, but not feeling gassed out as I normally do

SLDL (belted)
162.5kg x 5,5. More in the tank

Rack pulls - 20" or so, just above knee. Conventional, belted

235kg x 1
265kg x 10 second hold. The guy was counting fairly slowly, but grip was there.

Bent over row

95kg x 10 (or was it 8?)

Hammer curls

Couple of messabout sets of other stuff like abs etc.

Surprised at how the session went - everything was as planned.

Thanks. The numbers are SLOWLY going up, not worrying about bodyweight or diet too much. Just eat it. Bit stressed out about tons of stuff but at least training is going ok!

Haven't been eating enough over the past week. Looked "pretty" with striations in quads/serratus but that's not the look i'm going for. Savickas powerbelly would be cool.

Another mediocre squat session due to back playing up

132.5kg x 0 - unracked, didn't like it then racked again.

Leg ext
Few sets of 10, including a drop set of 5 sets

Lots of stretching for hamstrings, glutes etc.

Nope. Only reason I was going to enter is because it was easy to get to.

I should be concentrating on this novice/first timers comp (where 140kg+ people with 300kg+ deadlifts are trying to enter)

Just looking at having a day fun day out for this comp, but I know i'll end up getting competitive on the day.

Training at a bodybuilding gym avec Mr1369

Briefs and suit on, straps down
60kg x 3
100kg x 3
140kg x 3
180kg x 1 belted
200kg x 1 belted
220kg x 1 belted with straps up
230kg x 0 belted with straps up < Told Phil to put 5kg on, but his response was "nah, 10kg more". Got it to knees, I knew my chest wasn't up.

Rack pulls

140kg x 3
180kg x 1 with 10sec hold
220kg x 1 with 10sec hold
240kg x 1 with 10sec hold
260kg x 1 with 10sec hold
280kg x 1 with 10sec hold - only just lifted it, but grip was solid

Couple of sets of trying to do dumbbell push press with dumbbells that were loose = couple of minutes then gave up. Cleaned the 55 no problem, but wouldn't sit on my shoulders.

Hamstring curls, hypers 2x10 of each

Nice session, good to train somewhere else and with a decent bar.

Locked out of flat due to stupid landlord x 2 hours.
