Lockout was very slow. It felt like wearing the sweats didn't help, shorts next time i think

thanks mate. I still shouldnt be locking out like that with 215 though, not after doing 205x3 the other day. I'm blaming a completely empty gym atmosphere and tired glutes from walking 3 miles Grin

Here's a story I thought I'd share. In the gym other day I was benching and I could have been killed/badly injured.

I ask a guy to spot me benching, all I really want is the lift off. I lie down on the bench loose and am getting ready to tighten up and setup, but I can't grip the bar where I want to grip it because he is grabbing the bar at the part I grip. I repeatedly tell him to move his hands in a bit whilst literally tapping his hands but he apparently can't feel me tapping or hear me. He just goes on yapping to his friend. Then he lifts the f**king thing out of the rack and i'm like "mate i'm not even holding the bar yet !!". Then without even looking down at me he goes "you got it?", I swear the c**t is just about to just drop a barbell on me.

At this point i leap off the bench quick as I can like I'M NOT EVEN TOUCHING THE BAR WHAT ARE YOU DOING. Guy was such a moron.
