Just got back to the hotel, well pleased, half a point lead going into second day then after the first event of the 2nd day John Rudgard was leading me by half a point, finished joint first on DL with 250 x 9, then won the Anvil carry, Block Press and stones to win by 13 points.

HAPPY DAYS!!!

This was an awesome comp, I've never competed over two days before and it was really good, the location, organisation and events were spot on, a big thanks to Glen and Simon from EQ Nutrition and to cochyn Craig for another top comp.

Today went as expected, no events training is only going to lead to one thing, coming near the bottom on key events. Won log, yoke, 2nd on farmers n block press, joint 1st on deadlift, stones no idea but somehow got them all up after 3or4 attempts with first U, last on other two. Simon was a deserved winner consistent throughout and such a nice guy unlike JC who rubs it in when he beats you Wink

Finished day1 leading by 2.5points winning 2events, coming 2nd in the other 2 and in constant pain throughout...
Got no sleep that night so dosed up on tramadol (prescribed by my doctor) took way to much so all through day2 I was on another planet.
All I could do was watch the lead I had get diminished and then get taken over, first by Micheal and then by glen that was a machine all day!!!
I came 4th consistently in 4events and joint 1st with glen on the blocks. It was so tight at the top and I finally finished 3rd behind 2very consistant and well deserving lads who simply wanted it more (",)

Congratulations to all that took part over the 2days, hope those that got injured heal quick and of course a massive thanx to Craig, Glen, Simon and all the team of loaders and helpers for making this all happen!!!

great few days. another contest which was better than the year before and that's what we will try and organise again next year. hopefully three quailifiers next year and whilst still a pup dream in my head I want to turn next year into a full weekend festival type event with British finals, east midland BDFPA quailifier and potentially some MMA action in the evening and then get more sponsors and stalls throughout the weekend - we will see Happy

well done to all the competitors, its all you guys who make it a fantastic weekend and you all showed true class and inspired me and many others to get back in the gym tomorrow and hit more PBs
