My flexibility is not too bad in the arms and shoulders, better than it is in the lower body. I can do narrow grip with a higher bar, but trying to improve my squat and line is better with bar low and arms wide. If it was purely the squat then I would have assumed flexibility, but would that cause it on log, stones, truck pull etc?

I was mostly doing front and zercher squats or high bar back squats, which were fine. Lower bar squats on thurs night definately inflamed it, and truck pull on sun made it way worse. It feels ok today, will see how it is tomorrow, but its log and stones Dan, OH and holds dont bother me at all, the cleans do, but pressing is fine. I will get my friend who is a physio to take a look now she has recovered from shoulder surgery, but I have avoided going to hospital physio here, as they have made every injury I have gone there with a lot worse

Got someone to have a look at it for me this week, so hopefully that will help. Also got a book with pressure point stuff from Thing. Oh, and now I have the pain on OH too, never had it before, but axle press was agony tonight. Press was fine, but lowering the weight back to chest was agony. Only managed warm up, which hurt, then one rep at working weight, then was too sore. Struggled to put the plates away.

My suggestion would be to do a set of 50 reps with 5-10kg dumbells (hammer curls, db curls) or a similar rep range on cable curls. Barbell reverse grip curls (again for very high reps) successfully sorted out the bicep tendonitis of one of the lads I train with.

Will have to give this a try, have bicep tendon pain after wide grip doing pull ups with out properly warming up last night!

Suggested doing light high rep stuff including high rep partials at the mid point of a curl. Also showed me some ways to strap the arm that might help, so will see how it goes.

Yep I reckon the reverse stuff would work best. Most people are atrociously weak at those - and usually a massive weakness means an imbalance of sorts. I like the idea of high rep partials aswell.

I will do it with shame, as I tend to rip the piss out of the bench and curls brigade whenever possible, and now it will be curls every session for me too

Ha ha, no, I had better not be a closet bicep curler. I shall have to deal with the shame, put on my tightest vest and get as close to the mirror as possible, maybe the one in the squat rack, and curl away
