265 box squat mate that pretty much makes you second only to macca in the u90's.

not being one to miss a good opportunity, you'll have to show me, teach me the arts of squatting on saturday.

Sat yes.

I'd guess 600kg ish, we have the 4 50kg plates and the arms are quite long so could probably get 10 x 20kg each side. The machine is s**t though, not a nice movement/angle. The hack squat can go heavy.

Splendid little day yesterday Beefy!
This is the only Beef footage I got though. More people should start operating the Fanny Cam 2000.
Hope you like the song. Happy

Beefy my friend ,you need to find about anothe 6" of depth on your squats, if you ever get squats in a strongman competition they are generally judged by powerlifting rules which means the crease of your leg at the thigh must be below paralell with your knee for the squat to count, the light set of fronties you did first are almost to depth the backsquat and second set of fronties are extremely high probably not even low enough to be counted as a half squat.
There is a squat event in the u90k esm final so it would be worth your while to get used to squatting below paralell now as squats of that depth will definitely not pass. There is no point having a 265k box squat that is as high as a kite, it would be much more beneficial to reduce the weight and do some proper deep squatting and build the weight slowly from there.
James has a technically very tight squat and it would be well worth looking at vids of Mark clegg and macca squatting to give you some pointers.
Hope this helps.
