well next week being christmas and all i cant train, so the week after that ill work to a single, ill shoot for 130 first then 135 i think. dont think ill get 140 Unhappy

even if you dont nail the 140, you have made awesome progress this year buddy.

Do you reckon you have put 30KG+ on your total?

hi JC.

hmm well this year i have put a minimum of 30kg on my deadlift, more likely 40kg but i have to do it.

squat wise i have put on about 50kg but again i have to do it.

bench i think i have put on about 15- 20kg but again need to do it.

so probally around a 100-110kg increase this year on my total

Yes, T has done very well lately. Good deadlifting mate. You benched 125 for doubles. What was your 1 rep max before this training cycle?

ill try get some vids when im back at uni get one of my mates with a fancy phone and a data cable to get them! cant really at my gym here at home!

330(150)x5,5,5,3 First set good, second set i let the bar go down too far on my left side and it hit the rack making the rep a real gruller and shiiiiit form. third set last rep was crap got depth but turned into an arched back good morning lol. after this i decided to call it a day but did one more set and got 3 good reps but left it there as i had a new spotter and didnt fully trust his judgement

Lunges

159.5(72.5)x6,6

Calf raise

143(65)x12,12,12



not dissapointed, turned my old 1rm to a 3x5 max in afew months.

on for a break now! i deserve it i think

Noooo! Dont take a break T, you are progressing so well! why cut that progress short? Sorry mate I have a bossy side when it comes to training, a bit too opinionated sometimes!

well its impossible for me to train next week as i have no where to train lol. gym shut all next week i think Unhappy

sshouldnt affect my progress too much should it?

should i go straight back into my usual weights when i return?

IMO you cant do anything about your gym been shut, so dont worry about it!!

Theres only one option then T, if you are dedicated then you will have to break in to your gym! As its only one week then you may be able to just go back to your previous weights. I have had a week off due to a chest infection well on in to a training cycle and the week off has never affected me much.

not training is only good for 1 thing...and thats DETRAINING YOURSELF. Assuming you are fully fit then IMO don't take a break. Like Iain says a slightly lighter week could be done, but don't not train just for the sake of it.
