As far as I can tell, the very very vast majority of this community look down on bench press, let alone equipped bench press. I asked a question about bench shirts to a conveniant powerlifting community as I happen to have an account at that particular site, felt I would get more relevant replies and have not been able to activate my account at powerliftinguk. I got some useful information and have no shame about how I came across it.

I definitely do! The unfortunate fact remains however. If a selection of unbiased views on powerlifting equipment is required, this community (as much as I love it) is very doubtfully the place to come.

I disagree, most of the equipment hating stuff on here is just banter.
