It apparently brings on the birth. Didn't work.

I'll put mine down-

Pull over 330kg in Jan
Set new 100kg squat record at first BPC comp (422.5kg)
Total over 1000kg's in 2010 at 100

Hopefully attend more comps and see my training partners lift more and compete more! Yeah that mean's you too Pete!

I didnt see anything wrong with your 400kg squat so i think you've got a good chance with that squat record.

3. Qualify for and compete in the GBPF British Un-Equipped in September
4. Squat 200 kg, Bench 130 kg, Dead 240 kg at 90 kg unequipped at a comp.

Serious goals are

See my son as much as possible
Get stronger
Do some more strongman shows and do well at them
Possibly do a full Oly meet
Get my house back from the ex wife


I have ideas of weights I would like to hit but they are so variable I don't see the point in posting, as long as I bust a gut, keep progressing and stay healthy and inury free I am a happy chappy.

I'm adding a raw 250kg squat and to do an unequipped competition, i still think the hardest goal will be that wide grip chinup.

Now I think my goals need to be more rep based, but I also want some big numbers:

  • 140kg for 5 push press
  • 160kg for 5 jerk
  • 300kg for 5 suited deadlift
  • 260kg for 5 wrapped squat
  • 155kg log
  • 350kg suited dead, 330kg belt only


Just looking at this again and trying to make proper achievable goals so I can plan my training for between Sept and New Year and then New Year and May.

I think the following is definitely able to be achieved by New Year:

140k for 5 PP
150k for 5 jerk
270k for 5 wrapped squat
290k for 5 suited deadlift
155k log, 160k axle, 325k deadlift (likely suited) all for a single.
