Had been concentrating on OH for my comp. So went into tonight to see where I stood. Last time I benched I did 5x5 @ 100 and it was hardish. Felt tired and lethagic walking into the gym. Didn't think it was going to be productive! Bench 60kg x10 70kg x8 80kg x5 90kg x5 100kg 4x5 2 board press 120kg x5 In my opinion I've lost nothing on my bench even know I havmt trained it. Prob a lot to do woth raping my triceps for OH work. Snatch 60kgx5 70kgx3 75kgx1 80kg 2x1 85kg x0 cleans 80kgx5 90kg x5 95kg 2x5, x3 Very happy with that tonight! | ||

Really think I've improved tonnes from failing a single at 170 last week. Everything felt better but there still tonnes to work on. Front squats 60kg x5 80kg x5 90kg x5 100kg x5 110kg x3 120kg x1. - old pb, real easy and deep imo 130kg x1 - +10kg pb, easy aswell! 140kg x1 - hardish but I think the depth was solid! Filmed the last three sets of fronts aswell. ill upload the vid tomorrow at work! Speed deads 60kg x3 100kg x3 140kg x3 155kg 8x3 - 6o seconds rest! Pretty easy. 165 next time! Tonight. I'm trying to get back into ketosis so I've pretty much had zero carbs for the past few days, still energy levels where high today and I felt up for it! Deads 60kgx5 120kgx5 160kgx3 200kgx3 250kg 2x3, 1x2. Wanted 3x3, but was happy enough with this, its a little over 90% 1rm. Hitched the last rep of second set and the same on the last set. Last rep on second set I got to my knees with ease and then cudnt lock out! Bb row 60kgx6 80kgx6 90kgx6 100kgx6 Db row 50kg 4x8 Lat pull downs 4x6 Hyper extensions + 25kg 4x6 Ab pull downs 4x8 Over head squats 20kg x5 60kg 2x5 Good session I thought, especially given the low to zerop carbs! | ||

Got injured (ligaments in left knee) First session back today after about 5 weeks Front squats! 60kg 2x5 80kg x5 90kg x5 100kg x3 110kg x2 122.5 x1 130 x1 142.5 x0 - fell over coming out of the hole, knee wasn't too bad! Deads. 140 2x6 160x6 180 2x5. - all easy as pie to knee level then a weird pain in my knee from knee to lock out. Knee felt kinda unstable during the last half of the deads :/ Db rows 50kg 5x5 Bench 60kg x8 80kg x8 90kg x5 100kg x3 Then a few single leg body weight stuff for my knee! Trained for the first time with duncan, ie.'mini ken'. Strong lad! | ||

ACL is a very big injury, I did my LCL as you know, didn't rupture, but it was a partial tear. If you're having weakneww in the knee I fear that you have actually got a minor grade 1 -> grade 2 tear, just not a grade 3 tear which is a total ligament rupture. You need to rehab the knee and get it sorted before doing ANY heavy weights or rugby! If you don't and cause further damage it could cause you to really mess things up and I know how important getting back to the level of rugby you were at is to you mate! | ||

Overhead squats 40kg x5 60kg x3 70kg x1 80kg x0 80kg x1 - BOOM, i think this is a new PB. 85kg x0 - brought it in and out of the hole but not deep enough "apparently" | ||

Higher level next time Shoulder/overhead stability work with resistance bands X walks and leg pull aparts with resistance bands Snatch 20kg loads of technique/warm up work 30kg 2x6 50kg 2x2 60kg 2x1 70kg x1 Clean + press 70kg x1 80kg x1 90kg x1 - f**ked the first press, easy on second press 100kg 2xf, f**ked the clean both times. Was tired and started using arms too much 1 plate deficit deads 140kg 3x5 - knee felt solid and fluid. Reps where piss easy, cud probably have high pulled most of them! | ||

Today Deads 60kg x8 100kg x5 140kg x5 180kg x3 200kg x3 220kg x1 belt flew up 240kg x1 belt - tiny tiny hitch, was coming through anyway. Axle C+Press 60kg x5 75kg (1 clean 5 press)x2 90kg x0 90kg x0 belt - Couldnt get the clean right at all. 75kg (5 clean, 5 press) x3 Axle Push Press from Rack 90kg belt x5 90kg belt x3 would hope for more when jerking, didn't fancy jerks with my knee at the minute since my technique is sloppy at the best of times. NO fire, NO motivation, NO anger today at all. It was just one big slog. | ||
