This was a bit disappointing, but at least I know where I am with pressing strength. The goal was 5 x 8@85 on bench but I've known for a while that that wasn't going to happen. Did not feel that great today, so on a better day I may have done a little better.

One thing I need to do is cut out-temporarily - moves that weak my back, so not going to do Pendlays for a while.(89.7)

I've had a lot of bad workouts in the past few months and, despite poor sleep this week, this was not one of them. It actually went quite well. There were a few mistimed squats, but generally they were consistent. Deadlifts were fairly easy. (89.2)

Was quite pleased with this. Close Grip i went a bit conservative, aiming for a 12 rep top set and 3 x 8 on back offs, but I had a bit to spare on final set. Pulldowns went well, and db Rows were on the limit. (89.8)

This was a pretty good workout. Decided to do i today rather than late tomorrow after a busy day at work. Top set not very fluent, but just gritted it out. Short rest triples got easier, but cut them short as I want to recover. Managed 2 bar hangs after losing grip on last set of SLDLs. (89.4)

This was one of my best sessions of the year. Mind you it has not been a great year lifting-wise. Not that this felt great. Squat felt heavy on my back during warm-up. Working sets started got slightly easier. Undoubtedly I was a bit tentative to start with. Deadlift felt solid, if not quick. Despite both Squat and deadlift being heavy-ish, my form held quite well. Squatting today was a mistake. My legs and lower back just ere not recovered, a fact I only realised once I began squatting. Stiff leg deadlift on the other hand were pretty easy. Could have added another 5 or 10kg no problem. Ah well, today was a lesson I suppose. (89.5)

Ok session. As I can't train tomorrow had to bring this forward, but since I only benched on Wednesday decided not to go quite all out.
