First time ive ever tried shield carry, found it fairly easy. Log was just to see how i feel on something other than my awkward monster log, felt decent, could probably have done 5 or 6 reps on the 120 with no real issues. | ||

Cambered bar strict press 45 x 5, 5, 5, 50 x 5, 5, 5, 55 x 5, 5, 5, 60 x 5, 5, 5, 65 x 5, 5, 5. Just a loosener today. Its the final day of my hols and i spent it laying laminate and doing some pointing, so i was fairly tired. Wanted to do something, but knew the energy wasnt there for anything heavy, the above was the result. | ||

Neutral grip chins, 3 x 5. 1" Deficit deadlifts 220 x 1 emom x 5, 220 x 3, 3, 3. Happy with todays session. Got great speed on a few of the deadlift reps, starting to get comfortable with the technical changes. The higher rep squats didnt have me gassed like they once would have either, so making decent progress. | ||

High incline press 100 x 2, 2, 2, 2, 5. Cambered bar push jerk 105 x 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2. Was bloody shattered heading in to todays session after a late night yesterday (i lost my phone and spent ages tearing the house apart looking for it). Pretty happy with how it went, though weight was too low on btn press, didnt feel anything up till about set 7, then overcompensated and almost failed to finish the final set. Adding an extra session to fridays to get some extra volume on 1 lift. This week to break in easy im cheating by just hitting deadlifts in the volume session and then doing the rest of my deadlift workout in the second session. | ||

Beltess snatch grip deadlifts, 3s negatives 140 x 3, 3, 3, 160 x 3, 3, 180 x 3. Wide grip chins, 3 x 5. DOH axle holds 105 x 15s, 115 x 15s, 15s. Sldl 70 x 10, 10, 90 x 6, 6. Since id already done the hard part of my deadlift session this was a fairly easy hour. Felt pretty fresh, and everything moved well. 18 weeks out from bodypower. | ||

Close grip bench 100 x 8, 8, 8. Should have been front squat for reps tonight, but knees were feeling a bit battered from events. Pressing was decent, finally starting to get a bit comfortable with my monster log, 1st rep of every set was 1 motioned. | ||

Wanted to get up to 25 reps on the deadlift, but legs just werent firing. Not sure if thats down to power cleans this morning, or the massage i had afterwards. 20 was the limit without starting to hitch the s**t out of them. Nice lazy werkend on the cards, taking the wife out to dinner tomorrow and events on sunday, other than that i barely plan to leave my couch. | ||
