Back felt fine throughout, but i resisted the temptation to try any real weight.

Another light session (dont let the PB fool you, my cambered bar PBs are very out of date). Much improved from last week though, starting to feel good again, and the niggles are definitely lessening.

Had a session with my physio this morning and he thinks my back is back to about 90% so i figured id better grow some balls and push it a little more.
Tiniest of twinges after the final pull, but nothing at all comparable to the ones i had a couple of weeks back, will brave 300 in a fortnight and once thats done I'll forget all about ever hurting the back and get back to pushing for next year (assuming my son doesnt object and throw a wrench in such plans).

Again pushing the back a little harder, slight discomfort after stones, but nothing worrying. I think another week should have me back to fighting strength.
Just working on speed on the runs, trying to get them up without having to lap them fully.

Obviously i missed yesterdays session with spending the day in hospital with the wife (we went in at 23.45 on Thursday night) so i wanted to sneak some lifting in today now that the wife is allowing other people to visit.
Nothing heavy due to lack of sleep (90 mins) and lack of food (2 snacks, 1 massive takeaway) yesterday.
Things felt pretty reasonable so i edged a little closer towards next weeks 300.

No events session tomorrow, so the next session will probably be monday night assuming nothing comes up.

Back on a 'proper' training programme now. Its based around training 4 days a week, but by necessity that will be rather flexible.
Hopefully i can get everything done, if not events will probably be the one to suffer as its the only one i cant do properly at home, and its the least necessary right now with no comps for 6 months.

Reasonable session, though had to stop the deadlifts sooner than id planned.
Lower back started to feel tight around rep 18 of the strict press, and it made getting down to the bar on a deficit very uncomfortable. It was tolerable when i was setting up and could lower myself slowly, but felt like something was going to pop on the negatives of my deadlifts. As im currently drug free im not really sure what caused the tightness, maybe just a side effect of sitting down most of last week when i was on paternity leave.
Confident its not a big problem, and i expect to be fine for conventional pulls on Thursday.

Solid session, feeling good.
First few metres on 400kg yoke were a bit slow as id set up slightly off centre, but once i got the balance i got up some good speed.
Frame was consistently quick.
Grip work all felt strong. Grip will be a priority over this off season, so expect a lot of frame and farmers walk, as well as dedicated grip training.
