100 reps (50 per hand) on my strength shop 1.5 gripper throughout the day, split up into 4 sets of 15/15/12/8. Sets 2 and 4 were done with the gripper inverted.

Fairly solid session tonight, plan was to stop after the set of 5 on axle, but wanted to try pulling with a little weight on, never actually done anything resembling a heavy single on axle from the floor. 275 was very comfy, confident i'll pull at least 300 on the axle at Maxpower, maybe a little more.

Nice session today, lower back was very sore by the time i finished deadlifting so the planned keg carries didnt pan out, i picked it up and waddled a few times but that was about all i could manage, so did a little stone lifting, first time trying one motions, turns out they're actually quite easy, think i'd be good for a lot more there with tacky.

Push press, close grip press and pendlay rows tomorrow.

Better session than i expected today, lower back is still sore from yesterday, and knees are a little worse for wear, but everything held up nicely today.
Push press went well, and while the final set wasnt technically a PB it as the first time i've put BW overhead as i was much heavier last time i did it.

11" axle deads, wrapped squats and duck walk are the main ones tomorrow.

Cracking session today, was utterly exhausted by the finish. Held back a little on all the gym work to make sure I had something in the tank for events work after the mess I've made of keg carry and duck walk on my most recent attemps.
Finally found a carrying position that's almost comfortable on duck walk, so pleased to be making progress on that front.
Keg carry was tricky, though partly because I fastened my belt to the front so the lever was in the way, lesson learnt, will fasten it off to the side like I do on log in future.
Had planned on doing a couple of tyre flips after farmers, but there was nothing left in the tank.

Speed squats and axle work tomorrow.

It wasn't so bad on the final run once I'd gotten comfortable and had some confidence. That said the idea of starting a medley with it is a little terrifying, once I get comfortable with it I may drag out the 250 duck walk and medley one into the other, that ought to get the lungs pumping.

You may well be correct my friend, thats not ideal, at least i know i can flip tyres tired, im not certain i can move a 220 duck walk worn out.

Mixed session tonight, presses felt very heavy and slow, squats were bloody brilliant, rather wish I'd got the final set on video, 8 of the 10 were great reps, though the final one was pretty ugly. This was about as all out a set of squats as ive done for a long time, at most there may have been one more in the tank, but without a spotter I wasn't prepared to risk it.

Very happy with tonights session. First time benching over 150 in probably 6 months, and it was quite comfortable, starting to look like I should be good for at least a 170 if not a little more by next month, which I'd be happy with considering how long I went without regular benching.
Deficits felt pretty solid, definitely one of my favourite exercises, had only planned on going up to 250, but they were flying up so added a little extra for the final single.
SLDL were a last minute addition, had got through the rest pretty quickly so thought I'd do a little extra, final set was pretty rough.

f**king disastrous session tonight, absolutely weak as a kitten and no idea why, planning to ease off a little tomorrow so that hopefully i've some strength back for events training at JP on sunday, need another crack at log to get over the shame of todays failings, just couldnt get my press right, kept pressing them out in front of me.
Squats werent too bad, but slower than i wouldve liked given the weights involved.
Snatches werent terrible, pulls were a little slow, but tolerable in comparison to the rest of the session.

Fairly relaxed session today as planned. Quite happy with how the rowing times, thinks its probably a total of about 15s quicker than my previous best time for 2 runs, and the first 500m was only 0.5s slower than my best time. My ability to pace myself is improving, confident i'll get both runs sub 1.50 soon, then i can start to work on speeding up.

Events at JP tomorrow with some of the lads doing North Englands.

Happy with todays session, all events done on the kit that will be used at Northerns.
Log felt solid, probably good for 5 reps on that log, its much nicer to press than most others I've used.
Axle dead was lovely, again much easier to use than the axle I train on, 310 was very comfortable, will be looking for 6 - 10 reps at comp weight on the day.
Duck walk was horrid, but I've pretty much accepted that's the way it goes, it hurts, it rips my thighs to bits, but I can grip it and move it, so i'll be fine.
Sled drag was a little slow, ground being damp didn't do anything for my grip, will start doing this in my climbing shoes once the ground dries out.

Speed squats and axle work tomorrow night.
