14/12 - Trained at JP Fitness this morning.

Yoke - drop and turn @10m

300 x 20m,
300 x 20m,
300 x 20m.

Log press from blocks

65 x 5,
85 x 5,
105 x 2.

Tyre flips

150(ish) x 8,
150 x 6.

Medley - Axle cleans/tyre flips/sled drag

60 x 10/150 x 3/90 x 10m,
60 x 10/150 x 4/110 x 10m.

Deadlift hold

Frame + 250 x 30+s,
Frame + 250 x 40.8s.

Not a bad session, more fitness work than I'm fond of, but need to get used to it.
Made the foolish mistake of staying inside the blocks to do my log press, which limited leg drive, lesson learnt for next time.
Deadlift hold was a first, quite comfortable, I'd guess the weight in the hands as about 200kg.

Overall a good morning, will make sessions at JP a semi regular thing, made a big difference having a couple of other guys to train with and to help load/unload the gear for events.

Light session on the axle tomorrow I should think, though may add some squats in since I didn't get any done today.

Axle 1 clean + strict press

95 x 3,
100 x 3,
100 x 3,
100 x 3.

DOH axle deadlifts

100 x 3,
110 x 3,
120 x 3 + 10s hold at lockout.

Paused CGBP

100 x 5,
120 x 5,
130 x 3.

Squats,

180 x 5,
180 x 5,
180 x 5 - final rep paused.

Felt very drained all day, so decided against doing anything too strenuous. But quite happy with what I got done, got through the planned axle work in about 30 mins instead of the usual 50 mins, so had time for some bench and light squat work to try and loosen up my legs which were suffering after sundays session.

1 clean strict log

90 x 3,
90 x 3,
90 x 3 - all reps FTOH.
100 x 1,
110 x f/1pp.

Paused squats

180 x 3,
220 x 2,
220 x 5 - PB.

Very happy with tonights session, felt tender all day, and then got stuck in traffic so my 20 min drive to the gym took an hour so wasn't expecting much at all.
Log was great, very surprised I missed the 110, can only put it down to tiredness.
Squats felt a little heavy, but not unreasonably so given the day I'd had, happy to get the PB, think there was probably 1 more in the tank as well.

Heavy deadlifting on the cards for tomorrow.

18/12

Strict press

80 x 3,
90 x 3,
100 x 2,
105 x 2,
110 x 2.

Deficit deadlifts

220 x 1,
270 x 1,
300 x 1 - PB

Paused incline bench

100 x 3,
100 x 3,
100 x 3.

No idea where the strength came from tonight, but I was loving it. Did utterly nothing at work today other than pop lemsip capsules and neck Benylin as I woke this morning with a cold, but figured I'd go and do some training afterwards anyway, with the view that if my strict presses felt heavy I'd just pack up and head home.
They didn't, they felt so light I almost opted to try a triple on the 110 which would have been a PB, but settled for equalling my PB double and saving my breathe to try one of the 3 big PBs I need to hit this month.
220 deficit flew up. 270 however was horrid and just monged up. But even though that lacked any technical ability it still felt quite easy so decided I would go for the PB. The 300 felt a lot heavier than it looked, but given the difficulty I was having getting my lungs full I think the rep looks solid enough.

No idea what i'll be training tomorrow, see if my cold is better or worse when I wake up

Very relaxed session today, cold has got my ass kicked, so the energy levels just werent there for trying anything taxing. Starting to feel a bit more human now, so hopefully be in fighting shape for tomorrows session.

Happy with todays session. The Log PB has been a long time coming, expected to get it at Yorkshires so its about 2 months late. The clean was a little ugly, but the press was a piece of cake. Debated going heavier, but id got so psyched up for the 120 that I don't think I could have got my head into another lift. Got another week before I start to ease off so may try again before the end of the year and see if I can add a little more.
Squats felt great up to 240 and then they got very heavy all of a sudden, but I'm just putting that down to having done a fair amount of work by that point.
Stone to shoulder was a first, wanted to go heavier, but with no tacky I don't think I'd have managed much more, and couldn't bring myself to ruin one of my 2 good tshirts.

Thinking i'll either move my night off to tomorrow and skip training all together, or maybe go and just do some light fitness work. Planning to go for a deadlift PB on Tuesday, so want to be reasonably fresh.

Deadlifts

200 x 1
250 x 1 - slow
280 x 1 - slow
300 x 1 - very slow
320 x 1 - PB - really, painfully slow.
300 x 1.

Paused incline

100 x 3,
120 x 2,
120 x 2,
120 x 2.

Paused squats

230 x 2,
230 x 2,
230 x 3 - PB?

Strict log

90 x 1,
90 x 1,
90 x 3 - only 1 clean.

Happy enough with todays session, though think things could have gone better if not for a very long afternoon at work messing with my eating schedule.
Deadlifts felt very heavy, so much so I almost bottled going for the 320, but knew today was my last real shot at making it before the new year.
Squats felt ok, probably had another rep on the final set, but without a spotter I didn't want to risk it.
Log was insanely heavy, 3rd rep was a genuine grinder. Just too tired by that point to really explode off the chest.

Got another session tomorrow and then i'll start easing back. Currently planning on trying for a max paused squat, but that's dependant on my training partner showing up.

Got a CoC 2.0, tried a couple of closes, got it down to about 1mm with right hand, and about 5mm on left hand. Confident i'll be repping it in no time, so will be using the 2.5 by the time North Englands gets here.

26/12

Strict press

60 * 5,
60 * 5,
80 * 5,
80 * 5.

Paused incline press

70 * 5,
100 * 3,
120 * 2,
120 * 2.

Circus db

45 * 2 each arm,
50 * 1 each arm,
57 * 1 right only.

Beltless sldl

160 * 3,
200 * 3,
200 * 3.

Very light session today, wanted to do some squatting to test drive my new Do wins, but the gym i was training at had mats down inside the power rack so even warm up weights on squats felt very weird.
Circus db was awkward, been a long time since i tried it and struggled to get it balanced prior to pressing, the press itself was very easy.
