Right, after a hectic summer full of music festivals, my wedding and hooneymoon and a fair bit of growth for my business I am finally in a position to start training regularly again.

Basically havent trained since the athletics season finished in at the start of August. My aims will be;
1 - Gain some pressing power. I really enjoyed getting more into the technical side of shot putt over spring and summer but i need to throw some big weight about over winter so i can hit the ground running next season.

2 - Rehab the squat I have was squatting without any pain over the summer so I need to get back on it seriously. I would love to squat 200kg again.

Just seeing how it goes mate. If i can add some proper pressing power then i might do a local bench comp and if i can get my squat into PB territory i would like to do it at comp. But if i end up stuck on average numbers I probably wont.

I do intend to do the shot putt and hammer throwing season again next year so just trying to add lots and lots of power really.

Recently discovered a band called Myrkur. Its really weird but greatly enjoyable. I think you might quite like it.
