Turned up yesterday and ended up only sleeping from 7-10pm and had already been awake for 15 hours when I started my squats so yes. I felt like s**t! I knew I wasn't going to win fuark all as this is my first full power meet in the opens and also I've not been consistently training since last year so... I weighed in at a mighty/ awkward 86kg kinda bloated and unoptimistic. Warm up for squats was fine. Hit the platform and just couldn't get any real power out of me. 200 205 210. s**t but all passed. Bench literally had 5 minutes to warm up so 3x70 2x80 and 1x105 was me ready to go. 115 125 130 all pretty decent and this is an all time comp PB. s**t bench much? Still... I digress. Deadlift literally straight after and this is where I went to s**t. Worked upto 200 and could barely move the cnut. 215 220 225 few inches of travel. Tired and weak I put my tail between my legs and f**ked off home. Cheers life! I've got 6 weeks until I deploy for upto 7 months so we shall see what training happens whilst I'm away. Until then I'm just gonna do a few light sessions this week and then back into general lifting again. Maybe another PB before I leave I'm not sure. 5/10 would not compete again. Not until I can total 600+ anyway. K bye. | ||

Dl TNG to try use more hip drive and quads and less back by 'sitting' into the movement. 60/100/140x5 185x3x5 didn't grind or anything but didn't feel great. pendlay row 80x6x6 Chins BWx2x10 Curls 2x15 Was supposed to do abs too but again, kayaking hit them plenty today. | ||
