My fat gripz PB is 165kg. It is way harder than an axle.

Some impressive numbers being chucked up!

Never used or seen these Fat Gripz in person; are they soft/slippery or fairly hard etc?

I axle dead on a 7ft scaffold bar (a bit bent through being dropped many times from 6 1/2 foot up haha Grin )

It weighs 8.9kg and I've pulled 168.9kg with it (4 20s a side) and it was a bas***d to keep hold of

I do 140kg to 160kg week in, week out and have been doing more high-pulls with it and bent over rows, both of these bugger your grip up in no time at all and once it's gone, it's gone!

238kg is just mind boggling IMO on a 2" bar; more so when it's a smooth bar!

Soft/slippery compared to an actual fat bar. Not so bad compared to other ways you could make a bar thicker, and very convenient if you want a fat grip in a regular gym setting (pullies, pullup bars, dumbbells...).

Has anyone got long enough fingers to hook grip an axle?

Jesus, no lol

Can touch finger tips easy enough... Wonder if Mark Felix could?!

I seem to recall Matt Graham (6'7") could.
