Yesterday there was no training for me to do so I took it easy... And generally made sure that I got things done that I wouldn't normally.

However my protein intake was slightly lower than I've been aiming for.

This in itself is no major problem as my recovery is very good and the actual protein intake was still higher than I used to have... However it has reminded me to be looking at the protein intake from breakfast at the start of the day with a view of getting my 200 grams in by the end.

By being made aware of this I am already 60 grams down after an early meal Happy

Also

As a direct result of my mobility work my squat is now deeper and even more comfortable... And my strength is increasing uniformly

Secondarily, I have a muscle tear in my right calve. I've had this for some months now but yesterday when rolling and manipulating my ankle I found it.

I need to get this looked at and in the meantime try and see if I can manage it myself... A few of my Crossfit mates are physios so when I see one of them I need to get them to fix it.

There's a few guys who clean and jerked 125kg that day I saw on le Facebook too.

As a rule I've always been able to jerk anything I can clean.

Yeah the jerk never looked in doubt even though the clean looked pretty tough. Top stuff!

I took a group on this and we stuck together... Two triathletes two cycle enthusiasts and three ladies pro footballers... Oh and me Grin

The mountains made for great sprint challenges too

Heart rate maximum 181bpm

Average 133bpm

I preferred doing this as part of a group as cying on my own outdoors for lengthy periods will happen more and more in future so I fully embraced the experience of cycling with some of my friends. If I'm honest we actually cycled certain sections faster than I would have done on me own anyway

A beautiful beautiful day. Took lots of photos and even enjoyed a car show too Happy

Nice work mate, nothing quite like a decent sunny Sunday ride with good company.
