Paused front squat

130x1(PB)
110(3x1)

Then Crossfit

Steady pace 6 min circuit... Not really an amrap as such

Anyway I ended up doing 4 rounds

Then

On every even minute I did 2 TGUs with 16kg bell and on the odd 8 strict t2b

Later... Nailed 500 calories doing some general nondescript exercise

Then did my weekly arm session for 30 minutes or so then the Suns dream for the same length of time

I wanted to swim but I needed a nap today so I did what I needed to do so I could do what I have to do without doing what I want to do

But I'm off all weekend... And have had one decent swim so that's kind of okay...

I'm not sure if I will swim this weekend but one things for sure if I don't it will be in favour of something immediately preferable

That's the life to live for me

I will however let you into a secret with my swimming and progress... I will get into the pool before to long and will keep this up... The other one is... I only do it because I enjoy it Happy

If God created an eighth day which didn't interfere with anything else I would flipping love to sit down on the watt bike and do the long scream... Run a steady 5km and then swim intervals 100 meters at a time. That would be mustard.

I'm going to book onto the Manchester 10km despite the vast commute for my to get there from my home... Paying for a mate to run it with me too to help his training... He can pay me back in installments to chubby checker

The above assumes that I can still pay... If I can't that's fine if it's full or whatever they can piss off

I need to look up the sky rides too

Saturday

Crossfit

Warm Up

24kg kettlebell goblet squat x 5
24kg kettlebell high pulls x 5
Chest to floor squat thrust x 5
100 metre run

For 6 mins

Then

Partner wod

30 sumo kettlebell high pull into chest to floor squat thrust
15 hollow rocks
10 pistol squats
400 metre run

Amrap 20

In our group we did four rounds and got up to the pistol squats... This would be great individual workout although I would do it as 20 of the first one and put that between the hollows and pistols maybe...

Anyway f**k it it was a solid Crossfit session

Then swimming before sauna and steam

250 metre breast stroke
2 min rest
100 metre front crawl
2 min rest
100 metre front crawl
2 min rest
100 metre front crawl

22.21

40(3x1)
50(2x1)
60x1
70x1
80x1
85x1
90x1
95x1

Competition

95x1
100x1

My legs are weak it would appear... But that's only because my technique and efforts are fantastic

I've been reflecting a little...

I will continue to stretch and swim and run and Crossfit and all the other things that I do

In addition to continuing the Olympic weightlifting

Competitively

I want to be fitter and leaner as a general rule anyway...

Aswell as improving leg strength and ability to run comfortably

I currently weigh 95.5kg

I can snatch 105kg
Clean and jerk 120kg

225kg total

As a side note I need to make further notation on my lifts and performances I feel... From 5RM back squat to best single hang snatch to best time to swim half a mile

Great snatching! I didn't realise there were WL comps where you could just do snatch. Are they common?

Thanks Will!

They are part of official British Weightlifting Series called Lifting 101

I train with crossfiters and other people who like myself are new to lifting

The earlier one I did was three cleans but this one was harder because the snatch is harder
