Hello all, not really been working on the big three for about 4 years but I think it's time to get back to it.

These are from the first day back to proper PL training however I have spent a little time in the gym over the years but I'm by no means sexy looking or "strong"

Squats felt good. Had about 2 reps I n the tank but it was supposed to be a 2RM tester.

Trained at my new home gym for the first time today, it's literally across the road from my new house! Popeyes gym of Willenhall. Very nice indeed. Just need to find a training partner who wants to compete.

Happy with the deads. Hit the requirements but didn't have anything left in the tank. I planned to pull 190 on the block pulls but it wasn't there. I put it down to poor nutrition over the weekend.

Missed the paused rep on bench but thought I'd try. It ended up touch and go on the second attempt but I think I could get a decent pause on it in a month. And the 60 Dumbbells handle is fat and my grips ruined from yesterday so backed off for reps.

Happy new year all. First shakey session back after too much booze. A good session overall but I can totally see the difference between a good day and a bad one and this was less then perfect.

Current training pb has gone up lots since getting back to it but I can tells when it gets heavier that my technique goes abit awry as I fell slightly forward on the last 2 and among other things woke up with a stiff neck and a strange pain in my wrist when weight is applied, just behind the thumb. Wraps were as tight as normal but it must just be the body telling me to back off so I'm gonna focus on slightly more volume on the main lifts. Enough s**t from me.

Poor session today. Im spending too much time trying to teach the other half the basics of lifting and losing my focus. This needs to stop.
Elbows starting to hurt aswell so I need to back off on cgbp.

Last rep on last set of paused bench was touch and go and abit of a struggle but still hit what I wanted to do. Cgbp was fine but dropped a set to rest the body abit whilst I was still feeling strong. Mill press felt nice and for once my shoulders moved well on the military press so that's cool, thought I would go a little heavier hence the 60 but it's hardly Olympics standard. cable work as per upper body but dropped some sets off bis and and kept the weight light on tris as this is just to flush some blood through the arms.

Arm work is for s**theads but I figued it must help as big benchers have big Armz.

Edited to add: First attempt at competing 1st feb at the west mids last ditch meet. Gonna do all 3 lifts just for crack and get used to the standards of competing. If you have read this and are going to that event that's cool. I'll be the guy doing average in the questionably heavy but not light enough to be light weight category of 90kg.
