 Help me rescue my Insulina. Member 5366, 1090 posts | Blood doping, sounds a little extravagant for Strongman, even at worlds. Cycling teams have world class doctors and millions to spend. I can't imagine Kaz casually returning to his room to administer a blood transfusion after every event haha. Maybe he was snorting coke like Pudz  | ||

I'm also not sure that cycling teams have millions to spend, what with many of them going under because they cant get sponsors. Plus let's be fair, you don't need more than about a grand to get all the equipment to withdraw, store, and reinject blood. Just sayin'. | ||

Although I ain't pointing any fingers. I understand the mechanics of EPO doping and yes, you're right it's very dangerous if not monitored correctly. As for standard blood transfusions, it seems an awful lot of effort for what its worth and still carries considerable risk no? Especially when done on a ghetto budget, in a hotel room. Inhaling Xenon/Oxygen has some remarkable effects on the body regarding EPO production. Google that s**t if you haven't heard about it yet. | ||
