I'd like to get to 200 at some point. * Regular bar mixed grip 230x1, 250x0 Failed 250 below the knees. 230 wasn't too hard, and consistent with recent reppage. *Axle DOH 125x1, 135x0, 130x0 125 is a 10kg PB, strangely. 115 probably wasn't a true test. * Also did a bit of rowing, including a couple of peak power tests (10 seconds at max speed, full strokes). Managed to hit 955W (=1:11.6/500m). Feels weird to sprint with full strokes. | ||

No matter. Glute-ham raises 4x3 These sucked. Wasn't set up properly I think (knees too far forward on the pad), it killed my quads like a bad foam roller massage. I hope they're not as painful next time, I was kinda looking forward to doing these regularly. I must say the foam on the pad and the rollers is ridiculously soft. Don't buy GHD's from Crossgym, and don't buy their flat bench either, it's too short (I can barely fit on it) and the foam is the same soft crap as on the GHD. Idiots. Not exactly an entertaining watch, even though I cut out most of the rest periods. According to the tape, it took me 6 minutes or thereabouts to complete the 16 sodding reps. On Sunday I only had time for a bit of log. Worked up to 80kgx1, 90x1 (2-ply sleeves; let the bruising begin!), then 1 clean and 5 strict presses at 70kg, and 1 cl + 8 strict press at 60kg. Better than no training at all, I guess. | ||
