Was supposed to edit previous workout, copy and paste it in here. Edited last week's one by accident, so it's a direct copy of previous one shown. Gash.

Bench
Bar x 8
60 x 8
80 x 3
92.5 x 7, 8, 7, 8 - first set with no spotter, then got some bro to spot me for sets 2 and 3. Training partner finally turned up in time for set 4.
80kg x 3 - just checking speed. Not too bad.

Sumo deads
60 x 5 plus a power clean
100 x 3
140 x 3
172.5 x 1 - much easier than last week. Didn't feel like a max at all. No belt, just chalk

Lat pulldowns, leaning back and pausing on chest
5.5 x 10
6.5 x 10,10

Tricep ext - setting 3.5 12, 12, 12

Hammers
17.5kg x 12
20kg x 10

Hanging leg raises
25, 15

Butt girl was there again. Squatting. Then doing SLDLs. Wearing pink leggings.

Training at Genesis gym.

Bench
Bar x 8,8
60kg x 8
80kg x 3
95kg x 8 - wasn't going to get another set of 8, so decided to change stuff about

Close grip to 3bd
100kg x 4,5,4,5

Speed bench
80kg x 3,3,5 - all nice and fast, 3 reps comfortably under 3 seconds.

Bench plus chains.
60kg+48kg chains? at top x 4,4,4 (last set close grip) Not sure I believe the guy who said they were 24kg per set

Stone - 90kg x 1

Sumo deads
60kg x 3
100kg x 3
140kg x 1
160kg x 1
177.5kg x 0. Not even off the floor

SLDL - 60kg x 8

Cleans
60kg x 3,3
80kg x 1

Allright Funky. Rob here (used to train at Genesis and lift occasionally in BPC).

Good to see you're still training.

Was interested to see that how your current deadlift strength versus stone lifting ability stacks up. Would you say that you are a good stone lifter relative to your current overall strength levels? -Am asking because a friend of mine who deadlifts 240+ said he struggled with an 80KG stone. He is quite big around the middle though...

You're a sort of long-armed fella, which probably lends itself to stone lifting.

Looking forward to watching Muscledemon at your comp in March. -Would enter but I'm not sure I can even do the FTOH for 1 at the moment.

Rob Mumby?

My deadlift is most likely about 180kg at the moment on a good day with a belt,
I first tried an 80kg stone and failed it. My friend pulled 177.5kg comfortably the first time he tried sumo the other day, but failed the stone. I'd say a stone would be ROUGHLY half your deadlift. A guy with a 240kg deadlift should in theory be good for roughly a 120kg stone, but this is if he has the technique.

I'd say my stone to deadlift ratio is average - they're both pants.

I like to think I'm a better build for stone lifting - long arms and no stomach (aka lanky). Not sure what Vytautas Lalas is like with stones - swole but short arms, bit of a gut. I remember Pudzianowski being unstoppable with stones, and he had abs on show.

I think there is some logic in this. Moreover, I would tend to agree with this.

I can load a 125 stone and am pulling 245 at the mo.

Bench
Bar x 8
60kg x 8 - pec twinge
80kg x 5 - cautious
95kg x 8,8. Stopped there, could have carried on but didn't want to do anything silly. Progress over last week so happy with that.

Close grip
80kg x 5,3,3

Incline
60 x 5
70 x 5

Lat pulldowns - Funky Monkey style (bit like a seated row)
6 x 8
7 x 8,8

Hammer curls
20s x 10
22.5s x 9

Power cleans
60kg x 3
70kg x 3
80kg x 3?

Tricep pressdowns
3x10

45min walk home.

Please with the session, still making progress. Would be good to be on 100kg for 4-5 sets of 8, then I'll do 100kg 5x5 building it up again.

Yet, that's the Rób I am.

Re The stones thing, I can deadlift about 200 at the moment, but couldn't imagine lifting a 100kg stone. -But then I've never tried.

Good to see your log anyway. Will def catch-up ta your comp.

80kg x 8
90kg x 3
97.5kg x 3
100kg x 3
102.5kg x 3
105kg x 2.5. Stalled, spotter took it.

Close grip

70kg x 3
80kg x 3
90kg x 3

Inclines
60kg x 5
70kg x 3

90kg x 1 then racked it.

100kg x 3
140kg x 1 belted
160kg x 1 belted

10kg x 15
10kg x 15 superset with BW x 15

First day sick off work in about 2 years. Woke up several times during the night to throw up. Almost shat myself a few times too. Managed to get well enough to go to the gym, although there was a bit of a risk of s**tting myself/vomiting mid workout.

300kcals for the day until 6pm, wasn't expecting anything great.

Bench
Bar x 3
60kg x 3
80kg x 3
90kg x 3
100kg x 3
105kg x 3
110kg x 3 - progress over last week.

Close grip bench
60kg x 3
80kg x 3
90kg x 3
95kg x 3 - progress over last week

3" Axle press
70kg x 3
75kg x 2

Sumo deads
60kg x 3
100kg x 3
140kg x 3
170kg x 1 belted
192.5kg x 1 belted. Long hold at top. Progress over last week.

Conv deads with 3" axle
70kg x 3
110kg x 3
150kg x 3,3,3. Held last rep on each set for 10 seconds. Grip was fine.

Power cleans
70kg x 3,3,3
75kg x 3,3,3
80kg x 2 - smashed pubic bone on the way up. Nice

Pulldowns with 3" bar (leaning back, paused on chest)
6.5 x 8
7.5 x 8
8 x 5-8?
