it does seem good doesnt it! i dont know how many comps they have per year, and not sure how many unis even have a powerlifting club or whatever, my uni club is only being made this year. will be good for the sport to get more things like this going.

got chest doms from wednesday. and a wrist that hurts on rotation.

Squat:
1x6xbar
3x5x45kg
i got a bit carried away and actually did 8 on one set but im too lazy to split up 3x5 from my template. my lower back was taxed from these... poor form?

Overhead press:
1x8xbar
1x5x40
1x3x50
3x5x55 no problems

Power clean:

5x3x50kg working on form but hate power cleans now.

Squats:
1x8xbar
1x8x40 high bar
3x8x50 very easy stuff.

Overhead Press:
1x8xbar
1x5x40
1x3x50
3x5x57.5 fast(ish)

Deadlift:
1x8x60
tried some sumo stance on 100 but wasnt as fast as normal
1x3x100
1x3x140
1x1x160
1x5x170 first 3 reps overhand+chalk but bar slipped to fingertips. last 2 reps mixed grip which were fine grip-wise, quite slow. ~2.5 seconds per rep.
form is good, legs are a bit shaky though.


edit: just updating my offline log and a month ago I was pulling 5x170 but faster apparently.

3x170KG DOH is strong mate.

Carry on with the power cleans, I think once you nail technique, they become pretty handy and effective. Great for trap/rear delt work too. I've only just started getting in to them properly.

cheers mate. I really struggle with the second pull when cleaning but once thats nailed i'll probably like them more!

Try Crossfit Grace one day. 30x60kg floor to overhead for time. It will drill in technique for the first 10, then you'll just mong them up. Will take days to recover from!

Do not do this! It will mess your technique up.

Squat:

1x5x50
3x5x60 no pain after hitting the bump below knee with a weight plate on monday which killed at the time.

Bench Press:
1x8xbar
1x5x60
1x3x80
1x1x 90,95kg paused
102.5 x 5,5,3. 4th was off chest. Corrected my wrist alignment so I guess it has helped. They still have a tendancy to roll back on heavier weights and I need help unracking to keep them straight.

Chinups:
bw x5
2.5kg x 5,5,3
