Although it's a good challenge when your dragging he bar up on he last "cleans" it really won't help you in the long run.

3x5x60 couldnt remember what weight I was supposed to use today.

Power clean:
technique work for triple extension/ second pull with 40kgs.

3x5x75 easy peasy.

Overhead Press:
1x8xbar
1x5x40
1x3x55
3x5x62.5 bit of a grind

Deadlift:
warmups DOH
1x8x60
1x3x60 semi-sumo, these were fast and felt 'right'
1x3x100 semi-sumo also fine
1x3x140 first rep semi-sumo was weird and slow so changed to conventional
1x1x160 didnt chalk and was sweaty so bar almost slipped out
work set
1x5x175 mixed grip + chalk + 6 second hold at end. grinded the last rep.

1x1x 90,95 paused
3x5x105... I was bro-spotted and I think this is more like 5,4,3. 'Its all you' when their fingers were all over it. Who knows. Maybe I did fail that last rep and then have a miraculous burst of strength before it fell on my chest...
I will do 105 again next week to make sure.

Did you transfer from conventional to semi-sumo or have you always pulled like that? If you did transfer, did you find it weird at first or just natural

3x5x85 felt it in my lower back. did some of these paused to stop & check depth.

Overhead press:
warmup:
1x8xbar
1x5x40
1x3x55
1x1x60
working sets:
65x5,4,4 didnt rest long enough between 1st & 2nd set.

Power clean:
Just practicing my triple extension as I'm uncoordinated. It's a lot better now. I did something like 3x5x40 hang-power clean from below knees and then 1x5x40 power clean. My warmup was just the triple extension movement with the bar for a bit.

Having a belt on felt weird when pressing but thought I would try it as I tend to over extend my back and it hurts a bit.
Deadlift:

1x5x100 semi sumo
belt on
1x3x140
1x2x165
working sets:
1x5x177.5
again with a belt felt weird, I feel like im rounding my back more with the belt on but I have no pain and all the reps were fast. Could have got 8 probably. Is this normal?

working sets:
3x5x95kg pain came and went and i think its to do with knees tracking too far out or something similar. Paused one of the reps to check my knee position.

Bench Press:

1x2x95kg paused
working sets:
105x5,5,4 good spotters and no bro-ssistance this week.

Chinups:

1x5xbw
working sets:
3x5x7.5kg

3x5x100 these were easy and fast and im happy to get into triple figures again.

Overhead press:
warmup:
1x8xbar

1x3x55
1x1x60
working sets:
67.5x5,4,3 really want to move up to 70. will see how I feel on monday.

Power clean:
warmup:
1x5xbar (from below knees)
1x5x40 same
working sets:
2x3x60 felt good and were fast. setup has improved a lot and second pull is fast.

wanted to do some semi-sumo deadlift practice so left 60kg on and just practiced with that. worked out my most comfortable foot position, im not sure what angle my back should be at though. I tend to finish the lift with my lower back a lot.

you are right to experiment with foot positioning. you will also have to experiment with pack positioning though. I tend to round my upper back but keep my lower back not rounded

3x5x105 low bar but it seems i can almost reach the same depth as high bar.

Overhead Press:
after hurting my wrist/elbow whilst resting from squats (I wasn't messing around I swear) I thought my pressing might suffer today.

70x4 (pb) ,4,2 was very psyched for the 2nd and 3rd sets but was on a time limit today so rests were shorter. 70x5 soon

Deadlift:
1x8x60
1x5x100 semi sumo

180xfail - dont know how this happened but tried it twice and it wouldnt move. someone had superglued this to the floor im sure.
160x3 semi sumo just to get something productive done. I am going to switch to semi sumo however this means going back to 160 again!

in other news I have hopes of a 75kg strict press, and 200 deadlift by my birthday (30th september) and so hopefully my birthday deadlifts will be super awesome.

Squat:
warmups usual weights really. some paused sets with 1 set being high bar as per usual.
then
3x5x110
bar speed slowing now but managed the reps comfortably. knee pain is gone but still conscious that it could come back. Im just icing on occasion now. Still stretching lots.

Bench Press:
warmups and 90&97.5 paused.
then
107.5x 4,2,fail. not ideal and my elbow is aching a little.

Chinups:
bwx5 then 10kg x 5,4,2
