I fail to see how a continental clean is any less lazy as its exactly the same just on your gut instead of a belt.
This should be a good comp, cracking line up.

Higher pull for starters, and it's harder to keep it on your stomach so you need to clean the axle to the chest quicker.

12pm?? Thats pretty unfair for people travelling 3-4hrs+ IMO

I'd say its pretty unfeasible for the Scots/Geordies

I will need it later, as will John Marsden whom I'm travelling with

As will most the Northern/Scots boys I'd imagine

With lots of head to head events it has been decided make the numbers even at 14. As such Daz Clarke is now in as the 8th place finisher at ESM. I decided it should go to an ESM competitor given that there were 50+ at the regionals. If any English competitors drop out now the reserve is Richard Minney. If any Welsh or Scottish guys drop out it is John Pollock (4th in Scotland), the reason for being reserve in both Wales and Scotland is that all the competitors from Wales are either in the comp' or unable to compete.

Ben Kelsey (current champ)
Simon Thomas
Neil Evans
Anthony Griffiths
Mark Robertson
Nick Foxhall
Stuart Yule
Dan Cave
Karl Grant
John Marsden
James Clayton
Valdas
Damian Turner
Darren Clarke

Trained with Simon Thomas earlier , he cant post on here but wanted to know if there was gonna be any hitching allowed on the max dead or would it be zero tolerance as in the Welsh 105s?

Really? Lets hoping the reffing is spot on, 'cause one mans hitch is anothers smooth pull (it should be with that old bas***d Martin Grin)

IPF standards? Hope so, seems little point if not!

also, whys straps and no hitch? may as well bin straps too!

Do find it a bit strange that straps and suits are being allowed but no hitching , can understand the no resting on the knees rule we had in the Welsh open but not zero tolerance , everyone wants to see big numbers being pulled surely?
Avatarpaddymc1986
As long as its not resting on the legs can't se the.problem with a little hitching tbh.
