180x1 Pulled a muscle in my neck unracking this!! Squatted it anyway (slowly).

That was it. Wanted to bench too but my neck felt fooked!

BDFPA NE Divisional 8th Dec (Yesterday)

Had initially hoped for a couple of PBs at this, but I have a pain in the arse at the minute (piriformis, apparently, acccording to people who know about these things)so that idea went out the window.

Instead, here is the most boring comp write up ever..

75kg M1 Category

BW 74.8kg (from 77.4 a week earlier)

Squat

155kg Good lift and qualifying weight

Bench

107.5kg Good lift and qualifying weight

Deadlift

172.5kg Good lift and qualifying weight

And that's it. Three lifts. Just get this arse thing sorted and lift some proper weights at the Single Lifts in March and British Champs in April.

Have spent the best part of 5 months injured to the point of not being able to train, or at best, training around injuries.

However, things are getting better and squatting seems pain free at the minute. The following is the first time I've tried a proper low bar squat in ages. It didn't hurt and it's to depth(?).







All being well, more training to come.

70kg-100kg in 5kg increments, all for trebles. I enjoyed these, although I don't normally bother with them. I might try sticking some weight on and seeing how they go. Vid of the 100x3 below..

I'm going to stick at these with the aim of upping the singles by 5kg each session and increasing the 100kg reps by one rep each session. I'll aim for 155kg (double current bodyweight).

Some calf raises and leg extension stuff to finish.
