An Australian by the name of Robert Wilks of the IPF, this was a adopted in preference to the "Schwartz" points system a number of years ago. I think the sugden league is just a bit of fun as it is not always a true representation of a persons contest total but I understand what you are saying.

I think my main priority at the minute is making the PB Chart more useful, others on the to-do list include an 'unequipped only' filter for the league table, more profile fields, further down the line a lot more journal personalisation options, favourite journals option, gyms database. Videos section will either be scrapped entirely or replaced using some sort of filter. Option for the oly boys to have Snatch and Clean & Jerk in their sigs instead of the powerlifts. Will do some CSS updates soon too, been doing some nice work with it recently. Any other ideas for improvements this year are welcome.

Weak training is still training. Member 63, 260 posts SQ 135, BP 110, DL 195440.0 kgs @ 78kgs UnEq | I like the unequipped idea. Oh and the gym database would be fantastic, you could have members recommendations etc. Also how about an option of grouping everyone by which competition weight category they would be in? There would then be several mini leagues. So you would have all the 90k guys battling it out to be number one and the 110 guys doing the same etc. It would be a truer reflection of people’s relative strength rather than being compared to super heavies. I’m not saying this would replace the current league, just something you click that would then show these mini leagues as an alternative. What do you think?

Does f*ck all for SugdenBarbell.co.uk Member 1, 7173 posts SQ 182.5, BP 110, DL 205497.5 kgs @ 107kgs UnEq Administrator | The weight groups one is a good idea, because they are pretty uniform across the feds (apart from the 140kg group in BPC). The age one is trickier, because all the different feds have very different age systems. E.g. T1, T2 etc in BDFPA as opposed to U18, U20, U23 in BWLA - then you have different ages for masters in the two feds. I don't even know what the score is in BPC. The weightlifting age groups in BWLA are different to the powerlifting ones! Basically, it's probably more hassle than it's worth - anything I do I want to be as open across the various feds as possible, i.e. I don't want to label everyone in a certain BWLA age group when they may compete in BPC or BDFPA etc.

It's one or the other. The stinky pill or the lemon pill. The choice is yours.
