Forgot to log a few sessions, nothing intresting really. long one today: Bench all easyish, just a warmup as the squat rack was being used 1 x 5 20kg 1 x 5 60kg 1 x 3 80kg 1 x 3 90kg 1 x 3 100kg OHP 1 x 5 20kg 1 x 3 60kg 1 x 3 70kg 1 x 3 80kg 1 x 3 90kg push 1 x 1 100kg push 1 x 1 110kg push - 5kg pb CG Bench 1 x 3 60kg 1 x 3 80kg 1 x 3 100kg 1 x 3 102.5kg 1 x 3 105kg 1 x 1 110kg 1 x 1 115kg 1 x 1 117.5kg 1 x 1 120kg pulldowns, chest supported rows, rear delt flyes, standing skullcrusher thingys, rope pushdowns. Decided to do some extra deadlifts today as i was bored. Deadlifts 1 x 5 120kg 1 x 1 170kg 1 x 1 200kg 1 x 1 220kg suit bottoms and belt. testing out new suit for deadlifts, felt good 1 x 1 240kg again, straps down. 5 x 3 120kg fast Cleans 1 x 1 70kg 1 x 1 80kg 1 x 1 90kg 1 x 1 100kg 1 x 1 105kg 1 x 1 110kg PB | ||

Pretty much, might be using the knee wraps a bit and straps down on the suit every now and then. bench shirt is too loose at the moment. Just keeping on going, getting stronger. Think i will get a metal ace bench shirt and a titan boss suit in a few months when i can afford it. Your bodyshape looks to have changed a lot since I last trained with you so I imagine you will need new equipment now. Can't see some good old fashioned unequipped stuff doing much harm though. Glad you're also enjoying your westside stuff. Looking forward to seeing how it pans out. | ||

Yeah i am definately a fair bit leaner now, lost 20kg recently - allmost in the 125's now! I will be competing in the 140's in the long run, but no plans right now becuase its a fair while until my next competition. Unequipped is definately the way to go at the moment, allthough i will be looking at working in some equipment relatively soon even if its just knee wraps or suit bottoms / briefs when i get a pair. Todays session: Bench 1 x 20 20kg 1 x 5 40kg 1 x 5 60kg 9 x 3 75kg speed reps, alternating max grip, pinkie on ring and close grip 2 Board Press 1 x 3 90kg 1 x 3 100kg 1 x 3 110kg 1 x 3 120kg 1 x 3 125kg 1 x 1 130kg 1 x 1 132.5kg 1 x 1 135kg Strict Press 1 x 10 20kg 1 x 5 50kg 3 x 5 70kg Rope Pushdowns 1 x 10 30kg 3 x 15 50kg Hammer Rows 1 x 10 40kg 3 x 10 55kg Leg Raises 3 x 10 good session, was pleased with the 2 board, 135kg is only 5kg away from my old PB and after speed work and a max triple its a definate sign of my pressing strength returning at last. | ||

Started off with loads of shoulder stretching and cuff work, noticed my right shoulder has felt a little stiff over the last week or so but it feels fine now. Grip Work: Double Overhand Holds 1 x 10 sec 70,120,140, 160, 170, 180kg - dropped 180kg a little early, was more like 9.5 seconds according to sam. I then worked up to 240kg with mixed grip with short holds then 250kg mixed grip for 20 second hold. Going to cut it down to 10 second holds for both DOH and mixed grip holds next week. Seated Calf Raises 1 x 40 50kg 3 x 20 75kg Finished off with some wide grip dead hangs and bodyweight hypers to stretch out the lats, lower back and hamstrings, then 3x20 crunches. | ||
