More volume - always good to see mate.

As you lean up your workload will improve!

They felt great, just working on the line and then i'll be progressing fine again. volume is helping for that too.

Today:
Deadlifts
1 x 5 60kg
1 x 5 100kg
1 x 3 140kg
1 x 1 180kg
1 x 1 200kg
1 x 1 220kg

tried squatting after in sams suit thats 2 sizes smaller than my current one. JUST managed to get in to it. heaviest rep i tried was 265kg and it was way off deapth. was gonna try 305 but it didnt feel right for the walkout so i left it there. I think its gonna need 330+ to get to paralell with light knee wraps on...

Bench on Friday:

1 x 5 60kg
1 x 3 80kg
1 x 2 100kg
1 x 1 110kg
1 x 1 120kg
1 x 1 130kg
1 x 1 131kg
2 x 3 100kg
2 x 3 110kg
1 x 3 115kg
1 x 3 117.5kg

finished off with dumbbell incline, lats, rear delts and triceps

today:

Deadlifts
2 x 5 120kg
1 x 1 170kg
1 x 1 200kg belt on
1 x 2 220kg
1 x 1 220kg

Squats
1 x 5 60kg
1 x 3 80kg
1 x 1 100kg
1 x 1 120kg
1 x 1 140kg
1 x 1 160kg suit bottoms
1 x 1 200kg loose wraps
1 x 1 235kg
1 x 1 265kg
1 x F 285kg - close. felt off balance, will go very soon with straps down.

finished off with hamstring curls and calf raises

once the suit is broken in, 320+ squat should be there no problem with tighter knee wraps and the straps up.

Got the 200 bench not long after you moved down to Plymouth - but as i am now 20kg lighter the shirt doesnt fit properly so i cant train in it... Deadlift went up when i dropped some weight as it improved the position off the floor, allthough it seems to have dropped back a bit recently - probably because i havent been feeling great for a few days.

todays session:

Deadlift
1 x 5 60kg
1 x 3 100kg
1 x 1 140kg
1 x 1 160kg
1 x 1 180kg belt on
1 x 1 200kg s**t rep
1 x 1 220kg bit better

Box Squats
1 x 5 60kg
1 x 3 120kg belt on
1 x 1 160kg suit bottoms
1 x 1 190kg
1 x 1 210kg knee wraps on. went a bit off line but came up fast
1 x 1 230kg PB - very happy with this, best box squat before was 200kg with straps up, so 230 straps down is nice progress. New suit is feeling good now, much more confident going for 320+ in it soon!

Think i need to drop another 3-4kg for the straps to go up on the suit wihtout having to have half the gym helping me and nearly dislocating my shoulders in the process!

Been ill for about a week, first session back today and was feeling far from top form! taking it easy for a few sessions until i am completely fresh again.

Bench - pinkie on ring paused, singles at 100kg, nothing too hard but my head felt like it was about to explode so i didnt go heavier

Box squats (1-2h later)
1 x 5 60kg
1 x 5 80kg
1 x 3 100kg
1 x 2 120kg
1 x 1 140kg belt on
1 x 1 150kg
1 x 1 160kg
1 x 1 170kg

finished off with calves and hamstrings

Sounds like a good idea to take it a bit easier until you feel ready to go. Good luck with the recovery Toby.

Taking it easy for another session today, felt good and ended up getting an equal PB push press - but as i havent trained barbell overhead in a long time its probably a lot stronger than it was back then anyway!

Bench - worked up to a couple of reps with 100kg

Strict Press
1 x 5 20kg
1 x 5 40kg
1 x 5 50kg
1 x 3 60kg
1 x 3 70kg
1 x 2 80kg
2 x 5 60kg

Push Press
1 x 1 60kg
1 x 1 80kg
1 x 1 90kg
1 x 1 100kg
1 x F 105kg
3 x 1 100kg - felt much more consistant with technique so tried 105 again and got it
1 x 1 105kg
1 x F 110kg

Finished off with some upper back work
