Yeah, BPC is untested and multi ply - the federation that Bolton and all that lift in.

Theres no such thing as "IPF Depth," just loose judging.


I dont think it cheapens anything, but i think the constant arguing between federations and lifters cheapens the sport in general.

I am gonna lift in the 140's for now, but i dont have any long term plans. I am just gonna see what happens. I feel stronger at 140 than i did at 150 and i feel a lot better in myself too, more energetic and lifting seems to be going well. The weight loss has also helped my deadlift loads as its easier to get in a much better starting position.

1 x 2 160kg
1 x 1 200kg belt on
1 x 1 220kg suit on
1 x 1 240kg
1 x F 265kg - pulled to just above the knee. will go soon i think!

Squats High bar, perfect form

wave 1
1 x 5 60kg
1 x 3 80kg
1 x 1 100kg
1 x 1 120kg
1 x 1 140kg belt on
1 x 1 150kg
1 x 1 160kg

wave 2 (all belted)
1 x 2 120kg
1 x 2 125kg
1 x 2 130kg
1 x 1 135kg
1 x 1 137.5kg
1 x 1 140kg

Finished off with some hamstring curls.

It's not bickering or complaining about any feds/lifters but the fact is if your hip doesn't go below your knee it's not a legit squat.

How do you feel squatting with the 160 completely raw now Toby? Is it a really fast rep almost like a warmup now or do you still feel it a little?
The 265 will fall soon I'm sure.
Also, how's that flu that you had?

Flu has gone completely now man.

160 raw is high bar with perfect form to full deapth, holding the back arch makes it a lot harder. if i did it with a lean it would be like a speed rep.

thanks, was quite a grind from above the knee but i got it eventually. intrested to see what i can pull fresh now, will know in a month or so i hope.

Yeah its going well at the moment, allthough the recent pbs have been minor. hope something big is on the horizon with the deadlift - i'd love 300 this year.

The grip work was the most impressive thing today mate - Toby did a one hand pinch with 2x20kg plates with 7.5kg of chain through the middle (that it, nigh-on an extra 7.5kg at the top of the lift).

12 sec hold with 2 20's and hub grip with 27.5 too - never bother logging grip training.
