My guess is I'm getting around 30kg or so out of 2.5m Convicts. 20kg out of Inzer True Blacks.

How they are applied is the most important factor. You can never get them as tight doing them yourself so find someone else (who knows their s**t, preferably) and get them to do it.

I thought I could wrap my knees fairly tight but a russian mate cranked them so tight I was bruised for weeks.

strengthshop thors mate, I've got the 2.5m ones and like them, not quite as stiff as my atp convicts but half a metre longer which helps with my fat little legs. good value for money and a good level of stiffness.

I agree, I used to think I was wrapping my knees pretty tight until last year's ssm qualifier when Neil Hamilton (Thing) helped me with my wraps and showed me what tight knee wraps actually feel like.

Ive prob mentioned it before but the Andy Bolton youtube vid is quite good for rolling up wraps and putting them on tight.

Out of interest can it actually be damaging to the knees to have them too tight???

Happy days! zuluglove wrist and knee wraps are in stock!!!!

just ordered pair of each, pooh news is they aren't the defcon ones and the knee wraps are only 2m (as opposed to 2.5m) and are £10 more, good news is they re made of better material (so they say!) and they're still cheaper than metal ones!

Inzer black with 3 red stripes. Best wraps I've used by far. Soft but magically turn into plaster casts when wrapped tight.

I tried

Strengthshop Thor
Titan thp
Titan titanium
Metal silver

I prefer the latter as they are stiffer and hurt the most, thus kick my ass into bigger squats

Saw people using wraps for farmers and yoke yesterday, is this normal? Surely a tight wrap could restrict movement?
Can understand sleeves being used

Usually only done if trying to protect an injury.
