I just have a quick towel down and a leg stretch then back at it Grin

I agree on the 2 min's, although it did take what seemed to be a considerable amount of extra effort to go from 1:37 to 1:36 pace. The last program I did the 7x2 r2 TR was the session I dreaded the most, I may have been just a little cautious Grin! Low 1:36 average next time.

It’s great to see you being egged-on to up your TR paces. What joy! Grin

I did that session at average of 1.38.5, Normally Mr Bim is at least 3 splits in front of me which is why (to borrow your phrase JLL) I think a bit of sandbagging was going down

Bad nights sleep and just feeling a bit s**t again. This went about how I thought it would, disappointing overall pace, slower than the last few I've done and very hard work, I felt very fatigued from about the mid point on the second set. Second session into the hard week and it all seems to be catching up to me already. Hopefully performance picks up as I've got some big sessions this week.

I think you already know the answer to that.

Grin

Nice session. (I'm assuming it was AT and not TR?)

Couple of weeks ago I did 3x1 min at 1:27 pace, so in my deluded mind I though 6x1 should be fine at 1:28 Roll-Eyes. I was also fearful of being called a sandbagger again Grin. Anyway, set off what turned out to be far to fast, legs were just shagged from about the third set onwards. The set was reasonably tough on CV, but legs were too tired to get my HR over 160! Would have been more beneficial to have set off at mid 1:29 ish pace and tried to hold that with a faster last set if I had anything left I think. Horrible.

A different world of pain to the 90 mins UT2 session. Short and sharp!

Still a great overall pace, even if it did tail off slightly.

Lovely to get a sub6 2k! It is a bit hard to judge what pace to go for great to finish it under 1.30.

My plan today was to try to get the 8 as close to the 6 as possible.
