Hoping to stop the ibuprofen soon, pro-plus for the 5am start.

Plan is John broz style for push press/squat but with much less frequency(push press 2 a week and squat 3 a week) and regular back work/benching for giggles.

I find that it works well for me and keeps my training simple but the volume can be a bit much (hence the 15 sets of triples on the push press), but in a week or 2 the volume usually gives a pb (which i like)Grin

They have been good sessions but the knee/naff squatting is bugging me a bit.

I used to train at night at ralls in leeds (where robbo/andy bolton go) but my wife was complaining about it a lot (not getting home till 9 at night) so I changed it so I get up at 5 in the morning and get to the gym before work. I find it better as Im not tired from work and the gym is dead.

I do miss the guys at ralls but I do go sometimes when work sends me somewhere else (like the morrow).

Cheers mate. Pleased with how upper body stuff is going. Maybe the knee injury was a blessing to let me catch myself up.

Would like to get back to loads of good squatting for the olympic dragons though. Eek

IMO squatting is one of the lesser priorities for the dragons comp mate. I dont mean this personally just for you, but for anyone

I know what you mean oh wise James '3rd place' robson, but I find if my squat goes up then so does my deadlift/bench/push press/yoke/farmers. Keeps it simple for me in the gym- raise my squat and push press and all will be well for me.

Yeah I start work at 8:30 so it is a bit of a hassle. Building your own house? Knowing your strength Thing you will be pushing the walls up yourself Happy

If my office moves in the next few months then I may move from my flat to a house nearer and of course I shall pile the garage full of gym stuff to enjoy/bug the crap out of the wife.
