Hi guys,

Does anyone know of any strongman books? Similar to the kind of body building books you get but written by someone who has competed in strongman events?

Cheers,

Lewis

It's not exactly powerlifting but a good book to get is the purposeful primitive defo worth a read and I can't remember the name but I lent my mate it so can't check but a book milo advertised with a blue cover and a white drawing of a guy overhead pressing a barrel maybe someone can name it? its a good read

Pretty sure you mean dinosaur training by Brooks Kubic by the guy in white pressing the barrel on a blue cover?! - fail about 2 people have posted this while I was writing this!
I haven't read it but books I would recommend are books by George F Jowett, the way to live (I think) by George Hackensckmit but these are quite hard to find and not everyone's cup of tea. A good read, but not really about strongman is the keys to progress by John McCallum. Just my opinion there. I would buy whatever Ursus recommend as he knows what he's talking about.
