Louise looked to have more in the tank as her 160kg opener squat and 170kg squat stalled half way through (because the suit was too tight!). Then her final attempt 180 looked better than the last two! Looking forward to the GBPF Juniors now.

Thanks are due not only tho Bournemouth Barbell memmbers but to those who travelled down some distance and still willingly helped out.Referees Melanie Golding,Rick Meldon and Terry Jex were first class and really put themselves out to help.Thanks also to Carl S of Sugden fame who spotted at backstop for the squats while waiting to go on and break the British Junior bench record in the 145kg class. I really enjoyed the weekends lifting and hope others did as well. Regards to all, Paul

We also have another Russian training with us at the moment. Artyov is 17 weighs 82kg(ipf lifter) but looks smaller and has benched 200kg in a catana and 155kg raw.Also squats 255 and deadlifts 260.His presence has boosted competition at training sessions.He is going home this weekend just when we have got to know him.. There is a link for David Copp who took the photos, if you request permission from him then you can look at all 330 photos from day one, and download your own/request prints from there.
