Log, 4th events after deads/arm-arm/medley will be hard for everyone IMO

On the plus side robbo your log lockout has always been solid and very deliberate. One might say very easy to judge.

Guys like jc have always had shaky, half rep type lockouts. A judge may not like that.

As long as this is shown to the ref beforehand though, there is no problem Grin

Just mind games. Wink

Yeah made it easy. Will do this year, just getting rid of some flab first. Ive had an up and down year, lower back injury for 6 moths amongst other stuff so will just give it my all and see what happens.

was 107kg this morning. So shouldnt be much of a problem. Prob do a day or two cardio next week to aid it. But the word "cardio" makes me feel dizzy!

well i never really suffered from injuries in the gym, till i started training for this comp. then was riddled with them! But then again its all about working your way up from the bottom, like you would when your training weights. 2 months ago i couldnt even pick up a kettle to make myself a brew i was that badly injured lol (bicep)

I never had an injury from gym training for 5 years, then started strongman and BOOM! f**ked.

No need for cardio at 107kg mate, just a bit if overnight water loss is needed IMO.

I was 108.7kg this morning so need to drop to 107-108 then im happy

yeah bens informed me about the water dehdration method. Will give it a whirl if its needed.

Gotta admit, since i got interested in this it gave me a kick in my gym training. Got lazy with the gym. Do you find having a journal helps? do like the idea of posting your workouts on here seems to work for some ppl.

Helps me a lot mate.

Can reffer back to other sessions to monitor progress.

It motivates me to put up decent numbers sometimes aswell.

Most importantly, i get input from other people who are knowledgable and motivational. and sometimes they just like to tell me im a c**t...
