Cheers Bryn et al you ran a great comp despite all the dificulties with the venue.
Everyone around the venue was so friendly as well, it was great to see.

It's easy to forget what a huge amount we NWC lifters owe Bryn (especially), Jim and Martin. Without what they do there would be no comps, let alone ones of the excellent standard we have now.

Sounds like there were a few good totals that haven't been mentioned on the forum yet... nice lifts from Moz and some other new competition for Joe in the 90s by the look of it!

Nice lifting by Moz indeed. Was that an attempt at the 90kgs British bench record?

Yeah - I felt a little bad about Moz' near miss there, since we had the safety spots for the bench, but had not put them out. It could have been a case of 'mortician embalm thyself'.

I train with moz an the 201 that he failed was a shame the two weeks previous he had done this weight 3 or 4 times easily.Now the 230 he went for (that almost killed him) wasnt that close on the day but at home he's been about 3 inches off lockout
With his tight shirt on he needs 230 just to get down.His bench was a bit flat on the day for his standards but im sure if he keeps his head down that 230 will soon fall!
yea, some amazing progress from Moz , with joe well on the slide , he may be up for a top 3 at the british
