Cheers goats. Plan is heavy squats, heavy sldl, bench technique work and heavy log Happy Then I've got a week of deloading before the comp.

Cheers big man. I'm getting more confident with weights near my max now, I used to lose my head when I got anywhere near max on bench. I think I mentioned it before but I switched to paused bench work after reading something you wrote and that's when things seemed to change for the better.

Cheers goats. Looking forward to it. Heavy squats are a must on a Saturday for me now. I recover from it much better now that I eat a lot more.

this. shudda done 125, bet u cud of ground out a 90 press too. it put a nice smile on my face seeing u do some heavy singles on the m.press for a change.

I'm not wanting to take bench to an absolute max as I'd rather leave it for comp day. Military I could of probably done 90, but that wouldn't of been a PB so does it really matter? I knew you'd like seeing the heavy singles. Like I put above to Owen now that I eat more I seem to recover really well from big singles. Before my next week of training would go s**t if I did a heavy single in any of the big 4 lifts.

i seem to recover better from singles than i do grinding out 3-5 rep sets. so whats plan for bench in comp now, 115/120/125? i think ul hit that easy enough

I reckon 110/115/120. Have to allow for commands. I'm not really getting carried away with anything as they might red light me on everything, like my squats might not be as deep as they like etc etc.

Good session. Happy to beat my strapless PR. I almost psyched myself out of it, got down about 3 times and just couldn't bring myself to pull it. 215 to 232.5 is a much bigger jump than I usually would take when attempting a PR. Couldn't really be bothered to do the ssb squats after that, so I was pleased with how they went, even if the last one was like a good morning.
