Struggled with the clean. Damp, bent axle and general weakness/effeminacy left me struggling. Even a continental felt tough. Turd.

Had something of a headache all the way through and the pressing proved to be the final straw - far too painful. Tidied up and went in. Slightly frustrated but also fairly satisfied that the squats felt very comfy, as they should after a couple of days' rest.

Once again struck down by virus. Step throat, general aids-like feeling, not good.

Not sure if I've missed some sessions from here - probably not. Anyhow, started tentatively training again yesterday.

Stupidly went to cricket practice with tight hips etc, didn't warm up well and ended up with a pulled buttock! Being a genius, I just ignored it.

26th Feb

Nothing terrible, but it was sore yesterday so today's squats were exploratory.
